The squad is real...the rides are not...fictional F-100D's sporting the classified MiG paints of the early Area 51 program MiG-21's. Each pilot has their own Helmet color. 2 elements, so you and your friends can go hot rod'n around!

Awesome repaints of the Hun!! BTW I got the chance a couple of years ago to ask Col. Gail Peck a few questions about the Red Eagles and their pilot training in preparation for the MiG flights. He told me that because they lacked any two seat versions of the fighters they 'hangar flew' the aircraft with a pilot who had previously flown the airplane perched over the canopy railing.

IMO, the F-100 would have been a likely MiG simulator for the MiG-19 if it were to be used in a training/familiarization role for the Red Eagles and Red Hatters. Although not as maneuverable as the MiG-19, the F-100 could accelerate in level flight in excess of Mach 1, like the MiG and offer some opportunities to have explore and rehearse air-to-air tactics of the MiG-19 before actually flying the aircraft.

I love dissimilar and unconventional things!! I would definitely enjoy seeing other Warsaw Pact colors on some on these Century Series birds! :encouragement:
