I've recently discovered the Ruler Class escort carrier, and I was wondering if there was a suitable repaint for the Flying Stations Swordfish to fly from it. I've seen repaints for Taranto, the Bismarck chase, and the Channel Dash, but I'd like the later scheme with white sides and undersides. Does anyone know of one, please?

Peter Watkins did a whole rash of repaints for the FS Stringbag. Have a looksee on Flightsim.com and see if there's anything that takes your fancy;)

Thanks Dave, but no. I looked there before posting and found several pre-war, the ones I mentioned, a post-war and a floatplane, but none for an escort.

Peter, that's just what I was thinking of. Is it available somewhere?

Sorry David, I never finished it off. I will dig it out and get it done in the next couple of days!

Brilliant - thank you. I seem to remember seeing a one-off oddity with Merchant Navy rather than Royal Navy ownership painted on the side, but I think that would have been on one of the MAC ships rather than an actual escort carrier, so that's not another request!

Less than a fortnight since it was uploaded, and already it's been downloaded 170 times from Flightsim. Thanks Peter .-)
