I am waiting too.
I was thinking about this download and how slow it can get.
I was wondering if there was a way to make it utilize the band width. You would sign on to the site, you are placed in line, like "you are No. 35". You stay in that place, you can do other things while you wait. Then when your time comes you can get the band width for the high speed users.
This makes some sense to me in that instead of having a download of 12 to 18 hours on 10 users you can have the 10 users downloaded in 6 to 10 minutes each. Thats say 6 to 10 per hour, so in the time it takes that old way there could be 72 to 180 per server.
Of course this is just a rambling thought, I don't have much knowledge about servers and how they work or capacity.

Use getright and one more mirror will be up from today.
With getright you can dl from all 4 mirros and dl from one of the mirrors with 2 segments.
I got up to 45-50 kbps last night with getright in 5 segments.

I tried getright and it failed after 175 Mbs. I d/loaded 'internet download manager' and that had the whole thing down in 70 mins at about 130Kb/ps which seems amazing!!

There's a torrent floating around here someplace or other. I downloaded from it and got the whole thing in about an hour. Highly recommended, as is OFF itself of course. :)

averaged 375 kbs from Wild Bat's server, i used my AOL download manager which is very fast and..... I right cliked to save target as folder in my documents. you can then watch the folder load very fast and open it later to install. I have 1.5 high speed cable connection
I never got anywhere that speed trying to select open option instead of save.
