Hey guys,

If you have a plane where the smoke effects are on the wrong engines...(the left engine generates right-engined startup smoke, and vice versa)...how do you correct it?

It's in the aircraft config, and the three numbers for the smokesystem effect which indicate x, y, and z axis for the position of the effect in question... like so:

[smokesystem]
smoke.0 = -0.78, -4.66, -11.63, fx_vapour_f6
smoke.1 = -0.78, -4.60, 11.45, fx_vapour_f6

This is just an example but try reversing the (-) sign on the third value in your config for the smoke effect. Don't change the number value. Hope this helps...

Hi Andrew,

airfile record 1002. You need to swap engine 1 position right/left with engine 2 position right/left. Which plane is it?

Fibber,

Good one, lol. :costumed-smiley-034 As my father would have said, you're a great person to have around the day after an emergency. :p87:
