wont explaim them all
been reading the "readme" for 20 times now
fixed some of the bugs
the game runs now
but as soon as i click on "goto hanger"
it boots up cfs3, or at least, that menu from cfs 3, and says "mission file not located" or something in that nature..
anyone know an answer?

Yes it does.....you just have to be gentle with it.
Do you have all the dll files mentioned in the readme.
Do you have the cd#2 in the cd drive.
If you are running any kind of no cd program in stock CFS3 you will not be able to move from the manager to the sim. You need to have the proper cfs3.exe in stock so that it gets copied across into OFF.
If it's none of the above, maybe try re-installing.

Thanks Nod
Also make sure this a clean fresh CFS3 + 3.1 install. If so, did you make sure you ran CFS3 at least once to make sure it works and the user folders are set up? That needs to be done before installing OFF.

If you do reinstall delete all the "CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields" folders first and the WW1Scenery folder - will help you a great deal.

OK guess next is to tell us exactly what the error messages are... :)
Also what path did you install too ?
So you ran the installer, it unpacks, then you get the small box top of the screen left saying "installing Over Flanders.. " and that went through all fine 100% ? Then you got a message saying "Installed" and you clicked OK yeah?
Then in OFF menu did you get the "initialising " message "D O _ N O T _ R E B O O T" ?

Navigate to :
\Documents and Settings\"user name"\Application Data\Microsoft\CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields
and delete your UISEL.xml file and try again.

What exactly was the path you installed to?
Did you try what Winding Man says?

Your Install is unaware that it is a clone of CFS3 hence when it starts up it is loading the UISEL from the normal CFS3 directory and hence is giving you the "cannot load mission error"
Not only did your install not initialise itself but it also did not run teh MulCFS3 application.
I suggest the following:
1) Remove OFF completely - delete all folders CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields.
2) Follow the read.me and install the VB runtime components
3) Look at this thread for additional help:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=10511&page=2
Look at Dantes' message.
4) Then reinstall OFF. ensuer that you do not rename the final folder name for OFF.
If that does not work then you will have to wait until we see a trend over the next few days to give us an idea of how prolific this problem is.

I've had the missing mission error message at times with just a clean patched install of cfs3 and have been able to restart the sim a few times to get it to go away....I hope I don't have a big problem with OFF once I get it downloaded....will let you know.....probably not until around midnight EST...good luck!

You didn't answer half the questions I asked.
1) Jubbeh does the CFS3 work OK itself??
2) Have you tried running CFS3 a couple of times going into the mission then quiting.
Then go into OFFManager and try manual initialising again.
3) Exactly where did you install too (full path please) ?
