Downloaded and had quick spin. Certainly is the best Typhoon available and I like what I've seen so far. There are a few errors and things that don't work properly but I have faith that Dino will sort them out when he gets time. Does anyone know where the paintkit is though? Doesn't seem to come with the aircraft.

I could try it as well in a short test flight.
The first shocking thing was how smooth the FPS were. This plane has almost no hit on the FPS (compared to other planes), and this is quite a very good surprise.
The load manager refused to show me some AASRAM, but this might be because my TacPack is not updated to the latest version (because I'm still using P3D 3.3.5...).
The mirrors reflections toggled ON or OFF by a simple click are PERFECT.
I couldn't explore the instruments much yet, but so far I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Thank you, Dino !

I'm currently working on a fictional F-15E scheme for.this...being part of the beta was a blast Dino is a first class developer and very easy to work with. So many great improvements and additions were made. His work made me a HUGE FAN of this aircraft. Our online squad is moving to use it for mission ready status.

Dino this is one great add on! I do however have a couple of questions as they don't seem to be mentioned in the Manual.

Smoke winder activation, how is this performed?
FLIR/Targeting pod, can you control where this is targeting, IE in the VRS F/A-18 you can move the curser using the Keyboard Arrows and then Enter to a new target?

Regarding the Canard/Flaperon controls statement on Facebook I made, I have found another video https://youtu.be/zc4G8xkEpHc that shows both the rear control surfaces on take off. You can also make out on the 2nd aircraft when its pitching up vertically the canard looks to be pitching down.

On this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-LScvGHhzU at 11:45 this shows an aborted take off, the canards point down and the rear controls are up.
Another video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4QniDXrYcg but in cockpit, not much canard movement in flight, worth watching through but the landing is at the end which shows the movement on landing.

I have been trying to find videos that show the canard movements through the flight envelope but it just seems sparse. I suspect there is either something in the software that detects Throttle closure while Weight on Wheels and sets the control surfaces as such?

Chris Sykes

Hi Dano,

sorry for the loads of videos, hopefully we can get all the information for the canards.

This video is a bit of the last one posted but with more included, IE high 8G manoeuvre with the canards pitching opposite but with the voice over of the speeds and G's for each manoeuvre.

@All, I am glad you guys like the Eurofighter... as I said it is a very complex project by my standards, so, despite the careful testing, the presence of bugs and imperfections is almost granted. I will try to improve the project over time.

@Chris

Thanks for the videos - I knew them, but evidently I had not watched them as carefully as you did!
A major difficulty in developing the Typhoon is that, albeit you can find some documentation on the Internet (like the T1 Avionics manual and the FGR4 checklists), most of the information is still classified - and some details are unclear. I also had the help Eurofighter ground crew members and even with that some details (like the exact control surface schedule) are still unsorted.

In reply to your questions:
- Smoke activation: if you have Tacpack, the trigger will toggle smokes on/off. If you don't the wheel brake control toggles the smoke on/off but only in the air (I assumed that most people that do not have Tacpack have the brakes mapped to the stick trigger) . Both controls work regardless of the PoF.
- Currently it is not possible to control the LDP direction. It will point to the designated A/S target. I am looking to add this function to both the Typhoon and the F-35 in future, but it is not super-easy.

I am interested in the airplane but i have no tacpack, i fly The plane than always in clean config right?

Dino Cattaneo
April 2nd, 2017, 08:23
@McQueen79

The aicraft starts in the "aerobatic" configuration - the aicraft is fully flyable without Tacpack, but the avionics presentation (as in real life) is heavily geared towards air combat - and without Tacpack the air to air radar will not work. So you can basically fly only aerobatic demos or navigation (the navigation system is fully working without VRSTP).

This is such a well done plane, I can't stop flying.

But I've hit one small problem. Since no one else has mentioned, it's probably something on my end.

If I choose to load the pilot's right hand external fuel tank and try to fill ("add fuel") through Tacpack, nothing happens,
the tank stays empty, there's no increase in fuel or payload weight on the Tacpack screen, and the tank shows as empty
on the plane's MHDD fuel display.

The two other external tanks, center and pilot's left hand, fill as normal, fuel weight and payload weight increase on the
Tackpack screen, and the tanks show as full, and subsequently as being used, on the fuel display.

Am I doing something wrong or leaving out a step somewhere for the right hand external tank?

I'm using box FSX+Acc; my Tackpack is up to date.

Thanks again for a great aircraft! - Rob

Dino Cattaneo
April 2nd, 2017, 22:44
@RobM

I have verified the code and there is indeed a small bug so that the right tank will not fill up with the "add fuel" option. It will be fixed in the first update. In the meantime, you can use the "refuel and repair" option which will fill all the tanks -sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm also enjoying that plane quite a lot, even though I need to read the manual to understand some of the commands I couldn't find until now.
I wanted to try to drop some LGBs but I understand the commands to giude the laser are missing for now, and will be added later, so no problems for that.
What about the commands for the radar cursor ? Are they missing as well ? I didn't have time to test that yet.

I have noticed a few problems as well, but some of them might be due to my lack of manual reading :P
For example, the APU switch seems to have no effects (no sounds).
Also, the FLIR switch didn't turn the laser camera OFF, so even though all switches were in the OFF position in the lower right side of the cockpit, the FLIR image was still displayed on the MFD.

Finally, the warning system seems to be a bit strict. Is it really impossible to taxi with open canopy ? Same with the MASS warning, which prevents me from flying in SAFE position. I have to switch it to ARM else the warning comes back every 10 seconds or so. Is it supposed to be like that ?

I finally got the model from Simmarket. Quite a nice model all around in FSXA. I have encountered issues the previous poster mentioned but the biggest issue I ran into was that I have intermittent freezing (as if the flight is paused) at times that lasts up to 6 seconds and reoccurs every few seconds but then oddly the freezing will disappear. I've tried to isolate the issue but so far I have not been able. I just know that there was no freezing on the first flight but then it began after I started running through various cockpit functions. I suspect there is a function that I hit that has a bug that causing the freezing issue but for now I'm going to keep testing and see if I can eventually isolate it.

@StormILM

Sorry to hear that - we encountered similar problems in FSX:SE (only) during the Beta and they were all addressed. In the case of the Beta issues, there was no actual "bug" meaning that the code was correct, but rather FSX:SE was having issues with Mouse Areas associated to some keys (Mouse Areas being applied to a 2D gauge for most keys) - whenever we have found such bugs, I have remodeled the keys to have a 3D Mouse Areas and the problem was gone. Strange thing was that the issue was not consistent across machines, but happened only in FSX:SE: on some machines the issue were the SSK, on some other they were the PoF, on some machines no issues at all...may be yours in a new "variant" of the same issue.
All the cases found so far have been dealt with with the technique above...but some 2D Mouse Areas are still present in the model, which did not cause the problem. Let me know if you can track what is the problematic function.

Yes, in reality it is that strict. It's been modelled pretty well I have to say, the only criticism is the MASS warning should actually sound like MASS as a word rather than M.A.S.S. As individual letters.

i have also noticed that my external tanks will not take on fuel when I'm a2a refuelling?

Dino Cattaneo
April 3rd, 2017, 08:08
Yes...with very few exceptions, the warning system has exactly the same conditions as in real life.

...as for the "freezing", I'll appreciate if you let me know in case you manage to nail what function causes the problem for you. As I said, this is likely due to the FSX:SE engine having issues/conflicts with Mouse Area detection - problem with this bug is that it seems to show in different ways on different machines. On mine and on the testers' machines, the retail version (that is after the fixed) seems to work perfectly...but due to the strange nature of the issue it may show up again in other ways. I'll do my best to fix it.

As for the fuel tanks not filling in IFR, I will look into that.

Thank you Dino for a superb model. Loving the systems and the flight model is excellent - we've come a long was since the DSB Design version...

Afraid I'm getting the same sim freeze in FSX:SE as reported. Unfortunately I can't nail it down to a specific condition that causes the freezing as yet.

Regards, Dave.

Dino, I still haven't found the exact cause yet but your explanation makes sense. I can tell you that when I use the Control+Shift+R function to enable all the VC system to be Ready for Takeoff, the issue does not occur and the flight runs smooth as glass.

One other tip I want to pass to users regarding the flight handling, I noticed that during some high AoA maneuvers & turns that the model tends to skid a good bit with the nose pointing out of the turn (more or less like an uncoordinated skid turn) but if you enable to Auto-Rudder Control (which I have assigned to a joystick aux button) the model is much more stable in most maneuvers. I now perform takeoff with the Auto-Rudder disabled (to deal with crosswinds) and then enable it once airborne and reverse the process on short final when lined up for landing.

I finally managed to do a short flight in the Mach loop (always wanted to!!!). First impressions are really nice! I'm impressed with how smooth performance is, even with ORBX England/Wales on.

One small glitch I found. Can you check HUD collimation in P3D?

@Dimus

AS for the HUD I preferred not to mask the borders as all the masking techniques I know have some issues in bad weather - some of the testers made good cases for prioritizing that.
The collimation should be OK from the pilot point of view, but it is slightly off if you move the viewpoint - this is beacause I had the request to make the projection plane closer than I usually do (again this prevents issues with readability in bad weather).
I'll see what I can do to improve on this points, but they need a bit of thought from my side...

Dino, I agree with everyone so far on the standard of this release - it really is superb! Very immerse, great fun to fly, a really good all-round package. I do have the same problem as Dimus, though, and as a TrackIR user I see the HUD display outside the frame most of the time. It's not by any means a deal-breaker, just thought I'd mention.

...well, the problem is that -at least with the masking techniques I know- in certain conditions the mask is "visible" - this is more annoying than having no maks IMHO... for example this is evident in my T45 if you fly with FlyInside in Virtual Reality. I'll see what I can do.

@Beaufighter

By default the aircraft is loaded with smokewinders. In reality you can make weapons to appear (but not work) without Tacpack by applying the following token weights directly to the load stations... Keep in mind that the Typhoon avionics are highly oriented towards air combat, and without Tacpack the A-A radar does not work... so you may find that the default MFD screens are a little "empty" without it.

// EXTERNAL STORES:
// STATION 1 or 13
// Aim-9X Sidewinder:188 lbs
// IRIS-T: 192lbs
// AIM-132 Asraam: 194lbs
// SmokeWinder: 150lbs

// AA-Missile Pylon: 400 lbs (STATION 2 or 12)
// Sidewinder+pylon:588 lbs (STATION 2 OR 12)
// IRIST+pylon:592 lbs (STATION 2 OR 12)
// ASRAAM+pylon:596 lbs (STATION 2 OR 12)
// AMRAAM+pylon:748 lbs (STATION 2 OR 12)

// Main external pylons: 350 lbs (STATION 2,3,4,10,11,12)

// AIM 120 Slammer: 348 lbs (STA 5, 6, 8, 10)

// FUEL TANK (381 lbs) + pylon weight (350) = 731 lbs (ONLY STA3 and STA11 and STA7)

// GBU 12 (610 lbs) + pylon weight (350 lbs) = 960 lbs
// GBU 10 (2114 lbs) + pylon weight (350 lbs) = 2464 lbs

Dino, really enjoying the Phoon so far, took it on a bombing mission last night, took ages to put in a Pre-Planned Target (didn't put in height and so the Coords didn't take) but once inputted put some LGB's into the target from high alt and watching the hits from the FLIR.

Sadly I have spotted two issues while flying about, first seems the Tail light is missing see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sCVOgF07yE
The FLIR Zoom controls seem the wrong way round, IE click to Zoom out it Zooms in and Via versa.
The other thing I think is possibly more of a repaint issue is the Gun port, this seems to be left out?

Hi Dino
Really wanted to buy this plane...you know I just use flights sims to "fly", really have no need or want to buy TacPack and not going to spend $49.95 (using only P3D) that, added to Eurofighter very reasonably priced, will be to much. So sorry, really wanted this one. But this and the blank MFD screens are a no buy for me. I know this is a super model but the ones like AH Hawker Typhoon (not comparable), and Milviz models are more than enough for me. This is not a criticism, thanks for you work, but really, is to much away, too good, for my needs.
Best regards

Dino Cattaneo

@Beaufighter
I understand - for the record they won't be blank, but will show no radar tracks. Still the first MFDs always defaults to ATTACK mode - and while in flight it can only be assigned to ATTACK or HUD (as in real life)...
...still I appreciate you have considered this product!

I'll have a look at the TFLIR controls.
As for the gun port...good catch! You are the first one highlighting this... but it is an intentional omission. I modeled it, but it kind of spoiled the normals and the reflections in the area...and after many attempts I could not make it "right". So I preferred to leave it out.

@StormILM.
Thanks for reporting what you found. I did have at least one other similar report.
The issue was inadequate yaw stability at high AOA. I fixed this by changing the appropriate coefficient scalar in the air file. With the fix I got it up to 53 AOA and full power plus full forward stick gave a straight recovery.
Dino has the new air file and will issue it with the next update.

I should have seen this issue, but I missed it. All such issues are relatively easy to fix if I have a clear report and can reproduce the fault. My aim in the FDE Development was "Carefree handling", with this fix I think/hope we are there.
Thanks again,
Roy

Thanks for the update Roy. In the meantime I have used Rollus' Rafale FDE (his payware version) in this model. I only had to make adjustments to the thrust but otherwise, it handles like a dream with that FDE. I look forward to testing the new FDE when the update is ready.

Changed the body and wing striping to be more authentic. 99% Done. The mapping is a little weird with this one...not sure how Dino did it...but it warps the image is some locations....in order to get the roundels correct they are actually stretched out in the PSD file...strange...at any rate, solved!

Ok, a little more research has lead me here. The "Have Glass" paint scheme applied a new RAM coating to certain F-16 units. Because it was textured it actually held onto dirt more so than standard and had a slightly metallic shine. I've tried to apply that to this paint scheme as best I could without starting completely from scratch and repainting everything by hand (which I don't nearly have time for...sorry). I've made the diffuse play nicer with the speculars as is and darkened the paint back up just a little bit. I think this will be it? Added some weathering to the CFT, which I'm not sure I like too much. Should I leave it or bring it back in?

All - I am sorry but I forgot to "sign" the Tacpack files for multiplayer anti-cheating in the1.05-1.06 update to the Eurofighter... as result, if the server has anti-cheat enabled, you will be kicked out of the session. Here are the signed files (that must go into the main Eurofighter folder) if you want to use the updated Typhoon in multiplayer. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi there,

I haven't been able to run this properly yet since purchasing from sim market..
I have downloaded 1.06 but I am suffering from freezing issues.
This is fsx acceleration, I only have a gtx560ti 1gb ram, 3.4 x4 CPU.
Is there anything I can try to improve this?
It does look like the best Eurofighter available, just hope I can fly it!
Many thanks!

You can change the default VC viewpoint by editing the aircraft.cfg file (found in the Typhoon folder under [Sim]/SimObjects/Airplanes/).

Locate the lines in aircraft.cfg:

[Views]
eyepoint= x.xx, y.yy, z.zz

IIRC, decreasing the value of the third parameter (z.zz) will lower your eyepoint

@Outrun74

I am sorry you are having difficulties - the "freezing" issue is being reported by a small number of FSX-SE+Tacpack users (especially with lower end video cards). The root cause is unclear. Disabling Tacpack solved the issues for some users.
Also please note that your graphic card does not meet the minimum requirement (660 with 2Gb RAM) although I suspect this is not the root cause of the freezing.

Outrun74
April 26th, 2017, 13:06
Thanks for the reply Dino..!
I did notice my card was not quite up to minimum spec, but hoped that is not the cause.
I still use the "boxed" version of fsx (old skool!)
I do not use tacpack but would like to get that installed one day...
The freezes are small pauses, which are quite bad in terms of flying experience. Its a shame as the fps is quite good.
Hope it can be fixed sometime as I have been waiting for this eurofighter for some time now, all others I have tried are disappointing to be honest

You will absolutely benefit from a faster card. Get the best that you can, imho. I couldn't justify a 1080 card for myself, but, got a 1070, and I am impressed with the results.
Your CPU needs to be decent, but, doesn't have to be the latest thing out there. (depending on what you want to achieve).

Britmac: you have just made a very controversial statement for fsx! :)
This goes against my understanding of fsx architecture, and 10 years of tweaking just about every frame out of it !

Dino Cattaneo
April 27th, 2017, 22:49
@OutRun74

The issue is already in my Eurofighter master spreadsheet. Problem is, as I cannot replicate it - it is difficult to find the root cause.
If you know how to edit a panel.cfg file, for one you can try and comment out the ASR.XML, TSD.XML and DAS.XML which provide avionics functions which are not used by the Typhoon (they are leftovers from the F-35 code - will be deleted in the next release).

I suspect that the "freezing" is caused by some sort of weird interaction between the gauges and the 2D Mouse Area (which are projected onto the 3D model to make the "shapeshifting" keys).
We had a similar issue reported by one Beta tester for the SSK panel, and that was dealt with by changing the model to use Attachpoint Mouse Areas (instead of having them within the gauge code).

As for the graphic card, my two cents on this controversial (off) topic:
- I am not sure this is the root cause for this problem, and since you get good frame rates except from the "freezing" moments - I believe it is not.
- More in general, it is a fact that in FSX CPU speed is usually the bottleneck for FSX, rather than GPU power. Switching from a 660 to, say, a 1060-1070 will not bring the same frame-rate improvement in FSX you will get in any other videogame (that being said I have a 1080)
- P3Dv3 makes a better use of a higher end graphics card, although a lot still happens thru the CPU.
...but I will not discuss this anymore.

Dino Cattaneo

@Outrun74

The current release has no sound during wheels touchdown, nor sound when a weapon is released.

As for the explosions, no - it is not the indended behavior. Weapons should explode as usual with Tacpack (actually, there is no part in the Eurofighter code which prevents them from exploding... so I suggest you check your tacpack installation or update it).

Hi,

Well, about freezes, I've got the same problem with the SSW F-104G : after a certain distance from start point (about 80 NM) I get a screen freeze for 30-50 secondes, then it continues. After this, I get regulary small and short freeze (up to 5 sec). Tacpack is not concerned as freezes occur also without Tacpack.

But with F-104, when I unable the module nasarR15A.dll then no freeze!

May be a way to explore if Dino's Typhoon has some codes from SSW 104!

If it could solve this issue, I'll be happy.

Cheers

@Outrun74

The current Tacan system does not support Tacpack Tankers.

@dggoofy

There is no code from the F-104!
The reason why some users experience freezing is still unknown, but still you may try the advice below (from my facebook page)

"If you are experiencing temporary freezing issues with the Eurofighter Typhoon, and if you know how to edit a panel.cfg file, for one you can try and comment out the ASR.XML, TSD.XML and DAS.XML which provide avionics functions which are not used by the Typhoon. Apparently this may fix the issue for some users. These entries will be deleted in the next update."

The changes bewlow will be applied to version 1.08 in any case (which will be out soon).

Please remember that the official support for my products is via email at indiafoxtecho@gmail.com or through a message on the indiafoxtecho Facebook page. I cannot guarantee a reply otherwise.

@Dino : Thanks for you answer. I now follow you on FB!

I wrote here because I saw that SSW also follows this forum so I hope they will see the problem because : YEAH:jump: It does the trick! No freeze any more after I deleted the 3 xml lines from panel.cfg

And why I linked it to SSW' F-104, because the freezes occur exactly at the same point with the F-104 and the Typhoon (now not the EF2000 any more :jump:). So may be, they could compare your xml and their .dll and see what could be done to cure the issue.

Cheers

Outrun74, you are correct. But, a little tire chirp at touchdown might increase "immersion" illusion within sim, and make up for other things that can't be felt - but exist in real life, like the feeling of touching down.

But no problem here making soft landings in this model - Dino has done a great job, thank for you allowing participation in your beta. Batch of RAF Typhoons coming your way. I have painted multiple aircraft for each squadron so should work quite well with any VA. 1,2,3,6,11,29 and 41 squadron along with 1435 Flt represented from 2016. Hope you enjoy them.

im very tempted to get this, however correct me if im wrong I need to get the tacpac in order for it to have payloads display?Not really. It works fine without it except you lose some functionality with radar and weapon loadouts.

I've been able to display the weapons by entering weights in the payload page and am still compiling a full list. I've also been exchanging PM's with Dino to see if he might update the Typhoon load manager similar to what he's done for the S-122 for those of us without tackpac. Regardless, it's been fun.

I'm not ruling out getting tackpac at sometime down the road, but for the moment I don't have the desire to go to blow anything up. :adoration:

Generally not one for new hardware (much fonder of the vintage jets) but there's something about the Typhoon and the Raphale that is just cool. (Although the Raphale's intakes are sexier looking.) I'll be picking this one up! Hopefully someone will do the WWII camo version for the BoB 75th anniversary! Too bad they don't all look like that because it is just too cool! Finally Dino's gonna be making bank, I can't believe he wasn't charging for the other stuff. His freeware is better than some stuff I had to pay for!http://i.imgur.com/y68MnLf.jpg

All,

Very busy for my real life job - I just wanted to give a quick update on the Eurofighter v1.10...
...the update is mostly complete, will be released before Easter (hopefully).
It will include all the updates released on my blog, plus other minor improvements - and it will also include the twin seater along with a number of other repaints.

Aside, an important note as I see some users are having difficulties with MFDs and HUD... the package takes a "cold and dark" approach, so, upon loading, the avionics switches are turned off - you can either activate them manually or press control+shift+R to bring all switches to a "ready for takeoff" condition. Note that the radar requires Tacpack to work - and it is on STANDBY by default. To use A/A radar you have to set it to RADIATE in the XMIT mode and be in A/A mode.
See the manual in the aircraft /docs folder - you will miss quite a lot of features if you do not.

The RAF has tried to give a Typhoon a bit of color, debatable as to whether it's good enough to celebrate 100 years but at least it isn't just grey.

Thanks for the appreciation!

I have indeed released an update to the Eurofighter which brings a number of improvements. The update went online this morning with SimMarket - other distributors will follow (be aware that some of them are not very fast in complying to my instructions and it may well take a couple of weeks for some of them to update the links).

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/attachment.php?attachmentid=59337&stc=1

Here is the full list of changes:

2018-03-31
Product update to version 1.10...

GENERAL
- Two separate installers for 32 and 64 bit versions are now provided

VISUAL MODEL
- Added twin-seat model: external cosmetic mode only – no functional differences (in reality the twin seater Typhoon has a different weight and internal fuel capacity). Cockpit is shared from the single seat version.
- Added following repaints for single-seat model: RAF Demo, Royal Saudi Air Force, Royal Air Force of Oman, Austrian Air Force, Luftwaffe Bavarian Tigers
- Added following repaints for twin-seat model: RAF, AMI, Luftwaffe and Ejercito dell'Aire
- Minor fix to slat UVW texturing (in order to replicate the RAF Demo)
- Changed material rendering for canopy glass

COCKPIT
- Fixed bug in right fuel cock switch mouse area that prevented correct activation in some cases
- Fixed bug with throttle mouse areas that prevented mouse dragging
- Fixed bug that allowed deployment of drag chute when in mid-air
- Implemented lading gear lever down lock when weight is on wheels
- Engine starters are now linked to throttle position like in reality (advancing the throttle will cause the relevant starter to engage if the engine is off)

WEAPON SYSTEMS (TACPACK)
- Implemented JSOW as replacement of the Storm Shadow in Tacpack: a JSOW is fired instead of a Storm Shadow (as it is not implemented in Tacpack)
- Implemented SELF PROTECT mode for AGM-88. Upon AGM-88 selection, the SELF PROTECT option is shown in the A/S mode. When SELF PROTECT is activated, the highest priority threat detected by the RWR system will designated as A/S Target. Note that the the RWR is entirely passive, to the position is only approximate. If the missile is fired, it will fly in the general direction of the threat – then the radiation seeker will guide the missile to the closest radiation source
- Fixed minor bug preventing proper cycling through CCIP/AUTO/MAN weapons release option.
- Fixed minor bug preventing A/S Target update in certain conditions
- Fixed bug preventing manually entered target coordinates from being correctly fed to the weapon system

PUBLIC APOLOGY to mr. Tim Brennan (https://www.facebook.com/tim.brennan.7?fref=mentions) - The latest Eurofighter update contains the RAF Demo repaint livery which is incorrectly credited to Robert Skipworth (https://www.facebook.com/RobSkip377?fref=mentions). This was a copy-paste error from my side while filling the aircraft.cfg. My most humble and sincere apologies to both: I really appreciate their contributions to my projects, and I know how it feels when you do not receive the right credits for what you do.

Good to see that the twin seater has been appreciated!

As for the new projects (Hawkeye and Greyhound) it will take a while - unfortunately, I do not have much time and I am doing what I can.

Speaking of the Typhoon, 1.10 will probably the last full update in a while - maybe I will release a further "light" update on my blog if I will get the manual TFLIR control working (which is a planned improvement for the F-35).

Late to the party, but .... :)

Am thinking about this addon. My pc meets the suggested requirements, but curious if anyone who has this addon compares to it to either Dino's T-45, his F-14, or the DCD-F/A-18E/F/G. The latter I find takes a noticeable hit (from my 30 max down to 18 or so fps), so I'm wondering if there's a similar number of MFDs in this plane, what can I expect performance-wise.

Thanks very much in advance.
