Anyone know where to obtain the Rollus13 Mirage 2000D?

Is it freeware/pay ware?

Rollus did the 2000-5 single-seater model, but that is no longer available I'm afraid.

He did both. But i think what you are thinking of is not the Mirage 2000-D but in fact the 2000-N. I would search for.it that way.

I got both the freeware 2000-5 and the payware Rafale C/M before they were pulled. The Rafale is top notch but I've since stopped using the 2000-5 after I bought the M2M 2000C.

I've got several years ago the mir 2000-5-Rollus freeware pack from PC Pilot Magazin.

I also fear, that Roland Labories Mirage is sadly no more legal available.
He has strictly forbidden to upload it to any site.

To be fair, it wasn't his idea to pull it - especially after all the work he'd put into it.

Dassault Aviation made him an offer he couldn't refuse..... read into that what you will.

That's why I bought his Wasp from Simmarket. It's a Rafale - sort of..... The VC fits rather well.

I was kind of surprised by this case. I'm not sure if I've heard all the facts or if what I read was correct, but he must have been unlucky to garner the attention of Dassault.

I think you're right, Dave
Das...lt doesn't really like to read their name on something
other than their products.

but what i meant was to read in his strictly Copyright

"THIS SOFWARE OF MIRAGE 2000-5

"This software of Mirage 2000-5 is the property of the authors.

A lucky one, who could grab the jewel. http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon26.gif

It too was spotted by the manufacturer. In fact it tends not to be the manufacturer, who are too busy building multi-million dollar aircraft to be interested in pursuing a few hundred/thousand dollars from simulation developers, but third-party companies whose sole purpose is to manage licensing for those brands. How aggressively they pursue licensing varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Gray Eagle,

if you 're looking specifically for the Mirage 2000-5 , I guess you're out of luck.
However the Mirage 2000N two seater models with a still adequate (in my opinion), if not that sophisticated
VC, are still available at the main sites , e.g flightsim.com / avsim.
Though I think its a port over of the fs2004 model, not FSX native, but happy to be corrected

Kind regards,

Oliver
