We have a seaplane already built but not yet completely finished, so we can eventually have some nice recce and torpedo missions......clearing shipping lanes of mines....that sort of thing. We will need ships for this of course......support ships for the RNAS too......lots more to do on it yet.

Hello Winding Man!
Is it true that "Jutland" has been discussed?
How nice!
Lt Rutland of "Jutland" ,Royal Naval Air Service, must be included into the missions.
Also, we need Seaplane Tender HMS Engadine.
This sounds exciting for a Navy Enthusiast such as me.
Kind Regards,:costumes:

Have you seen this:
http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/sim/
...there are even some models to download..ie:http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/models/fittings/EngineTelegraph/HMS_Acheron_EngineTelegraph.jpg....I suppose theoretically you could use them to construct a ship...?

I know 'true' carrier ops are immpossible in CFS3, but will there be any of the WWI carriers included to fly from even though options are rather limited?

I doubt it very much. The nearest we will probably get is to model the seaplane carrying ships, with a large crane on it, that has just lowered you into the sea, and you'll take off from next to the ship.
Blimey.....you chaps are so keen. Not even got this phase out to everyone yet :jump:

It's my daughters birthday on 3rd so I'll go AWOL on that day.....but I'll be back on 4th with a chit from Great Uncle Farbunkle who is secretary to the Kings cousin giving me a 24 hour pass for the day before:mixedsmi:
Haven't stopped modelling anyway........been quite busy at it.

I posed the obvious rhetorical question on the main forum quite a while back::icon_lol:
Do devs ever play and enjoy their own games? :kilroy:
Play : constantly..... to test and debug...... sickening
Enjoy: no time too busy coding and testing and wondering..... what if I....
