Awesome...5 Victor...439 Squadron RCAF :applause:. And without rockets, which the Canadian Typhoon wing did not like.

Gonna have to get this bird.

The Wehrmacht didn't like 'em either. Tidy job! :applause:

the ones above are now all available on OZx, and I continue..
At first I thought that they would all be more or less the same, RAF camouflage with big letters, but it turns out there are some subtle varieties, apart from the girls name in the previous batch:

Group Captains Baldwin's aircraft, no big serial, gives it a sleek appearance I think, and since he was the leading ace on the Typhoon, those swastika's give a menacing look:

http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/ww230/jcblom60/Typhoon/jk815.jpg (http://s722.photobucket.com/user/jcblom60/media/Typhoon/jk815.jpg.html)

Then there is this registration, which in Dutch sounds very cheerful":
http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/ww230/jcblom60/Typhoon/jk803.jpg (http://s722.photobucket.com/user/jcblom60/media/Typhoon/jk803.jpg.html)

and then there is the overenthousiastic groundcrew during the night before D-Day, that had to put the registration on the tail:
http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/ww230/jcblom60/Typhoon/jk818.jpg (http://s722.photobucket.com/user/jcblom60/media/Typhoon/jk818.jpg.html)
http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/ww230/jcblom60/Typhoon/jk831.jpg (http://s722.photobucket.com/user/jcblom60/media/Typhoon/jk831.jpg.html)

so if you want more Typhoons, they'll be available soon

I really like the odd-balls Jankees. "PRA" fits that bill. All very nice. Thanks.

This one (MN686) seems not very much weathered, almost brand new... Grey and green are quite clean and very different as respect with more worn birds :

The photograph of MN686 was taken very late in 1944, probably on a delivery flight before going on ops or delivery to an OTU.:engel016:
