I can't hear ATC voices, in P3d, though as far as I can see the boxes are ticked, a pilot voice is selected and the volume is set. Heidi in the A2A Cub chatters away happily, but though the ATC window shows text there's no sound. I've tried several a/c, and it works OK in FSX, so I don't think it can be a speaker or sound device problem. Might it be a control option for battery, generator or alternator needs setting? Radios show power on, and I don't get a "no electrical" or "no radio" message in the ATC window.

Any thoughts, please? :banghead:

Check the sound settings in the sim. There's a page in which you can assign a different output device for the ATC (like, a helmet for example), instead of the regular output device (pc speakers). Perhaps something has changed in there, for some reason ?

Thank you, merci, and, as I am in Spain, graçias!

Changing the Voice Playback Device (in Settings\Sound) from default to speakers did the trick, and now it's all working again. Once again, Sim-Outhouse has come up trumps.
