Nice aircraft, but I think one thread about this aircraft was sufficient, which is why I moved the second one.

Cheers,
Huub

Wasn't aware of this!!! Had I known then I would of either A. not posted it or
B. Deleted this one....

It's for sale, you want to purchase it?

Where is this other thread located?

The other thread was almost the same, but contained only the first picture. As data don't really like deleted records I just moved it out of sight.

Cheers,
Huub

Not quite what you are after, but there's a "Tora Tora Tora" repaint which is ideal for island hopping:

Well, I was interested in something that resembles the picture(s) I posted. I like that logo on the fuselage just aft of the engine.....:encouragement:

This paint would look GREAT on the Sanderson Stearman(s)

If I am not mistaken, TuFun did a number of 'personal' repaints on these that were very very good...maybe you can PM him?

Does the Sanderson Stearman work well in FSX?

it is native FS2004 so it can be taxing on frame rates - fine in low autogen areas though.
It also has a few holes in the cockpit down by the throttle quadrant for example...and the prop behind the clouds FS9 deal -
Sure would love to have these (4) models converted to FSX

you can find it here..http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?s=&catid=201&nameid=&sort=d&page=1&pp=20&keyid=3199

that paint that gray eagle posted would look very good on these..despite the slight differences in configuration - IMHO anyway - GOOD Find

I haven't seen him around here lately. I know he doesn't take PM's or last time I checked. Wonder what he is up to these days?

no idea - but the good news is there are a lot of talented painters and modelers in here - maybe someone else will take a shine to these fine models and that nice Hawaiian Duster

I agree on a repaint of the "Molokai express" however, it looks to be a two seater and the cowling is off. Until the sanderson stearman was converted to FSX, maybe someone could "fudge" a little
and use the VS Stearman for the time being. I looked at some of the sanderson bmps and not sure what to make of it all.

At any rate, I like the looks of the Hawaiian Stearman. :encouragement:

I hope whoever buys that Stearman knows to open up that lower wing and take a hard look at the spars. These old converted 'dusters are known to rot from the corrosive elements and condensation
around and below the hoppers and spray gear. That and a lot of hard use typically means a ton of inspection and rework to be certain of airworthiness.
