Nope never seen this one before. not even mentioned by know it all D'Andre :pop4:. Looks good, but wondering what it has over Bill Lionheart's set. These are very good already. And the set has more variants.

And also wondering which airport he landed on in the last seconds of the video.

Bill's Pacer set is actually quite good. Perhaps the best classic GA aircraft after A2A's Cub in terms of recreating the full experience. But I may be partial due to its similarity to my Aeronca Chief. Alabeo, however, has yet to release an aircraft worth having, with the possible exception of their dusters.

I wonder why they are making one. LHC's also comes with Floats and tail wheel, not just the milk-stool.

Interesting, but LHC has all the options I want for a bush plane, tri, float, taildragger, different panel options. To make just one version and all eye candy just doesn't make sense. Maybe there will be more to it, but I won't hold my breath.:biggrin-new:

Why is it not even mentioned on the Alabeo website?

Alabeo needs to forget about the Tri-Pacer and work on a Noorduyn UC-64 Norseman. Carenado needs to do a Cessna 421!!

I need them (Or Carenado) to work on a Cessna Crusader.

Too bad he didn't make a ski version:dread:. Really nice airplane otherwise.

My favorite Alabeo aircraft remains the Gee Bee Z (although I'm also quite fond of their Stagger, Pitts, and C195), and I continue to hold out hope that one day they may return to that era/genre and spring a surprise like this one on us, done in the same style (photos of the Jim Moss replica Laird Super Solution):

Cessna T303 Crusader was a wonderful little flyer. I used to Taxi one back and forth from an FBO to maintenance on the other side of the field. I was lucky enough to get to Fly it once when the guy flying it took me along. Really a unique little airplane that had some endearing qualities. Carenado and Alabeo is good at capturing these GA Airplanes. Carenado's Cessna 340 is a really nice model. The 340 is one of Cessna's neat cabin twins and Carenado captures the feel of it really well! Another is the 404 Titan and now the Alabeo 441. I have flown both of those, and can tell you that flying the 404 is pretty true... except you don't have the headaches of flying the "Geared" Continental engines. These Cabin Twins are really important airplanes to anyone who has spent their time around General Aviation and Charter Flying. Carenado gives them life in FlightSim and I am really thankful for that. I alternate between Warbirds in the Summer and these GA Airplanes during the Winter months. Get a lot out of them all.

Obviously the people involved feel a need for their own version or it's somebody's pet project.
Not on my wish list but neither is any flavor of TriPacer.

Looks nice like all their stuff. However I'm hoping they will return to their roots and start putting out aerobatic planes again. Edge 540, Challenger III (Sean Tucker's plane) or Starduster Too would really fit the bill for me. Would love to see them do a large scale project like a B-29 as well....to have an interior that matched quality with exterior. And guarantees there's no G1000 gauge to slow the FPS down! LOL.

I do like the crispness of Alabeo stuff, and this looks very nice - but like some others I wonder what it might add to the Lionheart Pacers. Time will tell. As for the airfield, it's hard to say but it looks a bit like CZST Stewart in British Columbia.

I will second that thought. While, in my opinion, A2A makes the best sim models available, I do enjoy several Alabeo and Carenado models. I've bought virtually everything Lionheart has produced both fs9 and FSX, including his wonderful Pacer package. However I will buy the Alabeo Tri Pacer upon its release. The appearance of their aircraft is hard to beat and the newer ones have beautiful VCs.

I've always had a soft spot for the Tripacer since I read a book titled, "Anyone Can Fly" many years ago in which the Tripacer played a big roll. I still really enjoy Lionhart's Pacer package with the Super Pacer, Tripacer and all the variants and schemes -- a permanent tenant in my hanger.

Alabeo makes really nice aircraft and I picked up their Waco and C195 around Christmas. Will have to keep an eye out for this one.

I guess this is a matter of the difference between pilots and non-pilots. Alabeo's graphics are certainly high detail, but their flight models are just are too unrealistic to be enjoyable for me. Pretty to look at, but not enjoyable to fly.
