Thanks for the HU Yo Yo.

I was only thinking yesterday how nice it would be to have an FSX native Typhoon!

I've gotta say, this does look very nice, and will be a welcome addition to FSX/P3D.

Cheers

About time we got pilots that look like they have been fed instead of the previous skinny underfed pilots.

Really looking forward to this one.

Looks great Bazz! As always I really love your cockpits and your pilots have always been among the best. So I'm really surprised to see an improved version and am curious to see it in virtual reality......

And as always I appreaciate the effort you put in (affordable) models in my League.

Cheers,

Baz : The pilot has a name you know. Oxnard Willfred Featherstonehaugh III .

He comes from a famous lineage of aristocratic fighting men dating back to Richard the lionheart days. Sure there was that 'scandal' in the family when Roderick " the mediocre" Featherstonehaugh decided to support Oliver Cromwell but Oxnard here has redeemed the good name of the family. To be referred as "just the AH new RAF pilot" is a little rough. :unitedkingdom: :biggrin-new:

... too little :guinness: and too little

And let's not forget Baron Roger "the one-eyed,one armed, one legged" who was responsible for the downfall and eventual defeat of Ragnar Letsavalaf and his warring hordes 400 years earlier. What a family indeed.:engel016:

Thanks Huub, we build for more than FS product these days so techniques and method have had to change to make models more adaptable and multi-purpose. :engel016:

About time we got pilots that look like they have been fed instead of the previous skinny underfed pilots.
Even they look like body-builders if you remember those undernourished, flat-chested turnip heads with bulging eyes who flew for Airfix in the early days.

bazzar
January 27th, 2017, 23:23
Yeah I heard Airfix never fed their pilots - cost measures apparently.:engel016:

Baz : The pilot has a name you know. Oxnard Willfred Featherstonehaugh III.

In that case, the readme should include a guide to the correct pronunciation of this distinguished name or the Colonials will only get it wrong again. It's Fanshaw don't you know. Must keep these things correct, what what!

AusWilko
January 27th, 2017, 23:52
Probly don't want us Aussies having a crack at his name, shorten it to something along the lines of "that pommy b.." you get the point :a1310:

Is AH releasing this on their own or is it through Just Flight?

Doesn't matter as I still have plenty left on a gift card I got at Christmas to put this beauty in my hangar.

I thought I'd add something relative to the thread. Some Typhoon enthusiasts will already be familiar with this group who's restoring a Typhoon to flyable condition here in BC. For others who'd like to lean in and have a look, here's the site:

http://www.typhoonlegacy.com/

They have a facebook page that updates every other day or so, and often features great photo images from WW2 that I've never seen before. A bonus, these folks have recently scored a Napier Sabre engine in relatively good condition. Interesting stuff to follow as it all comes together.

Edit: Just now, poking about their site, I've decided that you get a lot more interesting material from the facebook page, including wartime service logs in constant update.

Very sad to read about the pilot Peter Price who lost his life in the aircraft.

MAGIC! :jump: I luv the Tiffie.

A real brute of a machine. Nothing sweet about it, compared to pilots transitioning from Hurricanes or (especially) Spitfires. Many a pilot felt real concern in their first few flights in this beast. But most came to love it for it's strength and speed. :)

Gonna buy it, but what about a Martin-Baker MB5? Will love it even more

JensOle
February 14th, 2017, 12:32
Even if it is an interesting design the MB 5 is kind of not even an side note in the aviation history (just one prototype build). I very much doubt it has much sales potential for a payware model.

I'm very much looking forward to the Typhoon, we have missed a good FS model for a long time and the model looks superb from the screenshots!

Ok, thank you. Even it's sad, I'm waiting for the release.

No offense, but this is how I feel a bit now:
Two friends die and they find themselfs in a strange place full of gorgeous and "very friendly" women. "This is the heaven, man!" shouts one of the guys. Two minutes later the other one shouts "Man, this is the hell!" "Why?!" ask the first. His friend answers: "Because these girls doesn't have a :censored:!" (Sorry.)

In the 1th of April bazzar will write - "we decided after many questions to add TacPack function to our addons" :biggrin-new: .
If They account how many questions was about TP in AH products and each cost 1$ They would be more rich ;>.
