Just moved the time back a little bit and started to make a new version of Khe Sanh in 1968. The one i know is from Vietnam War Project. This one will match the timeline.
As ever when i do there will be an ai traffic with this scenery.
Just started this one... so you will just see the first shots.... far away from being ready.
Look down from hill 950 to Khe Sanh.

Second view in second set of photos - at about 12:00 to the helo's nose, toward the EOR - is that an F-86 on the ground?

Right..... this one will not be in scenery when coming out. Just playing arround with it. :jump: Not the right plane to match the year 1968.

I thought that might have been an RTAF F-86 that somehow set down there by accident!

Looking good Klaus! Can't wait to add it to my scenery.
Several weeks ago at a motorcycle tech day, I met a Marine crew chief who flew in H-34's in Vietnam. He was pleasantly surprised I even knew about them as most people associate the Huey and the Cobra with Vietnam.

How do you get the Skyraider weaponry to show hits and explosions on the ground like that?

All the dirt splashes and detailing make the place look really busy and unpleasant. I'd love to fly some missions out of there!

You need registert tacpack version on your computer.
Then you will need this http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=52726294 (http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=52726294)conversion from flightsim.com for the skyraider. Everything to do is written in the readme inside.
You will find information for integrating tacpack in just every plane you want, in tacpack forum https://forums.vrsimulations.com/forums/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=109

Awesome work!
Where did that grass come from by the way?
klnowak
December 22nd, 2016, 08:38
Most of the libraries (grass also) are from the fantastic work of roger-wilco-66 (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/member.php?u=72848). Marc did all these things with his great sceneries. This grass is from his chodo scenery. (i`m just able to place all those things into the right place on an afcad :disturbed:... shame on me)
