Hi all,

I have been inspired by the WW II sceneries of the Green islands, Emirua Islands and the Solomon Islands to create some basese where my dad was stationed with the 13th Air Force during WW II.

I did some sceneries back in the day with Airport and api macros, I used AFCAD for some sceneries in FS 9. I am learning to use ADE and although I am muddling through, I am running into some problems. Is there a comprehensive tutorial (not on ADE itself, I have the manual), but something along the lines of "do this first, then do this".

To make my meaning clearer, I have placed the runway and it shows in FSX. I use a custom ground polygon that flattens, excludes and masks the landclass and the runway doesn't show. It is getting frustrating so I will gladly take any and all advice.

Thanks, Joe

jm,

FSDeveloper is likely your best source for scenery design expertise.

Thanks for the links Milton. I don't know why I didn't think of going there as I already have that site bookmarked. Lots of reading to do on my part.

Thanks again, Joe
