Fibber,

Thank you for this most important reminder. Let us never forget. Those who lose a grasp on their history will almost always repeat it. I will hold all veterans and families affected by Pearl Harbor and the war close to my heart this day. :US-flag:

My take away from the latter movie was that Ben Afflek won World War Two with some minor assistance from a hand full of other guys.

Good afternoon,

I am watching Tora, Tora, Tora right now, and I hate the Pearl Harbor movie. The brother-on-brother love story is ridiculous and sick. It also lost me at "P-40s can't outrun Zeroes, so don't try, we're just going to have to outfly them in our hula shirts."

The B-25 takeoff from an angled-deck carrier was also a nice touch, and I'm sure Army fighter pilots flew B-25s just for the heck of it.

I was going through the wiki page for the movie, its interesting how they modified the T-6s to look like the Zero and Val. You can still tell that they are T-6 Texans. Its also interesting to see how many Zeros are still around. There seems to be a lot of replicas as well.
