Hi,
Have you any success landing on carrier with that plane? I think that the fly model is wrong or at least not efficient for this? Have you a cure?
The JF demo video does not show all the landing...why?
The freeware FM2 has no problem. It is quite easy to do carrier landing.

I don't have the JF Wildcat, but it would be carrier capable, it just they simply did not screen a landing, be a lot of fun with Bruce Fitzgerald's USS Enterprise in a multiplay :encouragement: with a bunch with the same aircraft or VS Dauntless, Hellcat, JF Corsair .. the list go's on .. get a bunch of mates ... one has to be the Carrier Commander driving the ship .. really that is just as much fun. :adoration:

This model WILL carrier land but it needs to be light (a little over 50gall or less). Try for a 3-pointer if poss to minimize the chances of a nose-over;)

Yes - there's a fix involving the hook.
Wildcat tailhook mod
Make a copy of your aircraft.cfg as a backup.
Locate this section in the working cfg.
Delete the whole section = 4 lines.
copy paste this replacement in its place,
[TailHook]
tailhook_length = 2.50
tailhook_position = -20.100, 0.000, -0.500
cable_force_adjust = 2.0
