Sadly missed and as someone already stated he was quite a contributor here at SOH . I remember the last thing I installed of Joe's on a recent reinstall was "Sounds for Tongass Fjords FSX"

I am saddened to hear about his death. Like many others, I benefited from Joe's talents and skills. He was a good friend to all flight simmers.

About the years ago I went to Joe's house to help him fix an issue with his computer. That was one fun afternoon.

Thank You Joe

Joe Watson made numerous valuable contributions to the FS Community in the form of shared knowledge of the FS SDK, and innovative scenery packages, both freeware and payware.

Many thanks, Joe... you will be missed. :wavey:

What a shame. Joe and I entered the scenery making hobby about the same time. He was a good friend. RIP, buddy.

Yep - Alaskan Winds, BFU, my VA - Alaska Bush Charters. We used to swap textures back and forth for buildings and such. He was a lot of fun to work with, Dex.

Sad to hear this. I met Joe through the Outhouse.

Spoke and wrote to him quite a bit when he was putting together his Central Florida GA Airport scenery package.
No creative talent on my end. I was just the go-for guy, driving around the area to find and take notes for him on the airports in my area that he was including in his scenery.

Thoroughly enjoyed helping him out as he seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
