FSX-SE not shutting down.

Here's an odd one. My FSX-SE closes down as normal, but if later on I try to load it again it refuses, and I get a message to tell me that it is already running. Only shutting down Steam through the task manager or a computer reboot will let me start again. Any ideas, please?

Check on Task Manager, see if you have any add ons such as AI Carriers still running and close down.

The problem went away after one of those computer disasters.
