"Cheap" and "high end" are two things that do not fit well into the same sentence. The article compares the AMD RX-460 card to the Nvidia GTX-750Ti, which was never a high end card, but a budget gaming card.

I got my new EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SC 02G-P4-2962 for under $200 and the graphics rendering and overall performance with it blows away what I got out of my AMD Radeon HD7770 Pro (before it ate it's cooling fan blades). Best part was I was able to keep my current 460w PSU and save even more money. It was a perfect mid life upgrade GPU for my system.
