A question: how frameratefriendly is the Milviz Cessna 310R?

I've had no issues with the 310 in either FSX or P3D.

And do you have a 'heavy' computer, or an average one?

Max fps on my spec with F1 GTN 750 + MV WX radar (50-60, blocked at 60). I like it! btw. MV working on the next update.

I now now have a "heavy" computer, but even on the Acer laptop with standard specs, the 310 runs well and with no frame hit.

With frames unlocked and with low load otherwise, I get mid 70's average FPS.

System is 'medium' I guess by current standards: I5-3570K 4.3 GHz 8GB 1866HMz RAM; GTX 980 4GB Driver 368.22

Cees it's bound to depend not only on your system specs (don't worry, lots of us are only 'average') but also on any scenery or other add-ons you're running - weather, traffic etc. - and of course the in-sim settings for autogen, traffic, scenery complexity. 'All settings maxed' over Orbx with Active Sky, lots of traffic AND a complex add-on like the 310 is is a recipe for stutters on many systems, certainly mine (i7 3770K@4.5, GTX 970, 16GB). Pick your other add-ons carefully, tune the in-sim settings 'til smooth and you should be fine with the 310.

If you decide the Milviz is a bit too heavy there are alternatives - Craig Richardson has a freeware 310B and 310Q and they are splendid.

On my very average rig, the C310R is fairly 'friendly' in most locations/conditions - and a very nice flyer.
(The Milviz Baron, on the other hand, with its beautiful VC, is quite demanding on frames).

I am surprised to learn that Milviz is working on another update to the C310R since they just came out with one last May -- where did you see that info?
Thx,
Al

Some improvements in general, but more importantly it will be even easier to install and configure with desired options via the new menu manager.

Great Bill -- appreciate the continued support!
Are you going to take the ADF our of the G1000 version, and maybe have a bit of offset for the altitude drums so they don't jump if you drop a few feet below a 1000ft boundry, etc. :)
