Hmmm the music copyrighters scavenging youtube sites are onto little old innocent me :engel016: Still, there's more than one way to float a boat.

Youtube fuzzyres can go jump :a1310:....

Catch, PD and Nio steal a Gotha, have an adventure and enjoy a hairy landing ....

{thanks go to Seacondor and the good Capt. Winters for the flyable Gotha model :ernae:}

Click the dropio site here --> http://drop.io/catch22/login

Password is offvidsz ....

Save it or click the bottom right hand icon on screen and watch it in full screen :applause:.... why ? Because you can and youtube fuzzyres can't.

You fly that thing like a fighter Catch. When you were on your "approach" (and I use that term loosely) I was just waiting for a wing tip to hit the dirt! I was hoping you'd look that way so I could see. You were doing what amounted to aerobatics in a Gotha. Those wings are big, but they won't hang around long in a dive.

Hi Guys,

Hi Catch,

nice Video, the landing was rather well executed I thought, you all walk away and teh plane was usable afterwards :)
what do they say? a good landing is one you canwalk away from, a great landing is one were you can use the plane again.

I noticed your guages were greyed out, you may need to copythe defualt a_gauges_1.dds plus 2, 3, 4
from your stock CFS3
D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS3\aircraft\shared folder

and place them into the shared folder of OFF this should then give you basic gauges in game. (I cant confirm this as I dont have P2 on my machine, but I suspect thats the problem.)

regards Rob.

Let's pretend for a second that the Gotha is an oil tanker and didn't come down in one piece.... and here's Catcher offering his explanation of what might have possibly gone wrong...

By the way....Bob....Happy Birthday you old fart. You may wanna' stop flying around as Catcher's passenger if you ever wanna' see another one....lol.

Hi Rob,

I checked and these gauge files are already there in the shared folder. However, the gauges are still greyed out. Maybe catch is right and we will have to wait until final release.

Hi Guys,

I was at work when I typed the bit about the guages, just checked the model file, the guage textures required are:

gc_gauges_d1.dds
g_stock_gauges_1.dds
gc_gauge_glas_t.dds

these are available at Regs hanger they are part of the GC shared files.

place them into your gotha texture folder

I know the guages work, as I have them in my install.

sorry for the confusion.

regards Rob.

Help please,

Found the files at Reg's Hanger and downloaded them to a temporary folder.

I followed the instructions for loading the Gotha files into my OFF folders but I cannot find the aircraft in when I go to choose it in the sim:banghead:

Scratch that! I found her:redf:

But how do I set her up as an AI so I can shoot at her?
