Strange thing that has happened using Win 10 in that when I copy and paste the a/c info into the cfg folder and then go to save it,
it tells me that access is denied. I have never had this happen with a previous computer also using Win 10. Any ideas on how to correct
this issue?

The best cure is to not install FSX in the Program Files folder.

What you can do is copy the aircraft.cfg file to your Desktop, make your edits and save, then copy it back to the aircraft folder.

cheers,
Lane

You need to have administration rights to flightsim.

Well I probably be shot down, but as my pcs are not networked and no-one else uses them, I have UAC off. After an update I sometimes find I'm getting that "you must have permission etc" and I hate that so ever since I've had UAC on my os (Vista in 2008) I've turned UAC off so I go back to UAC and pull the slider back down to 0.

UAC = user account control
