Allen,

Excellent work! This was a sorely-needed model update missing from the CFS2 collection. Thank you for your dedication to closing the gap! :very_drunk: :encouragement:

Once again, a certain improvement of existing models... Proves that renovating
some of these old horses renders a very up to now model!!!n Kudos

Allen,

you are fast with you iterations! Thank you! But I think my description concerning the blisters on the Spitfire wasn't all that helpful. I noticed that you removed the blister that was on top of the wing. This blister did exist on the "b" wing for the Spitfire, since it gave the room needed to house the ammo drum for the 20mm cannong. The blister (I'll call it a cannon stub now) I was referring to was just outside of the cannon. I attached a screenshot this time. Sorry about the confusion before. http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/attachment.php?attachmentid=37862&stc=1

I see. Cannon blisters added back and small wing protrusions removed. Model updated again! Also this is why I should have been smart and got the 3 view of the Mk.Vb but no I thought I knew better and shot my self in the foot 3 times now...

Here are my 5 cents for your next project, in order to save your foot....

There are many aviation history, very knowledgeable folks here at SOH. I am sure you are very well aware of it.
Just post a few shots of your WIP and ask for help, spotting possible overviews. It will spark pooling of individual knowledge, aviation books and documents.

It will also lighten your workload and avoid you to have to go back and fix things around. Picking up a job again, believed to be completed, is one of the things I hate most in life.

Besides, I am sure many guys around here will be more than willing to lend a helping hand, count me in as well.

If anything else, it will give all of us a juicy opportunity to chat about the subject we love most: vintage airplanes/warbirds!! :encouragement:

Keep up the good work!

I did a little rework of the panel on this model... if you care to use the bmp... Again, kudos on this fantastic job to regenerate this old model...

:wavey:

Available as usual... with or without yoke (separate bmp files)
Comment and/or suggestions welcome...
