Hiya Browncoat. Glad to see you got working. I went through the same routine a while back and ended up solving it the same way you did. To tidy things up, if you are interested, you can go into the registry and delete that original acman.exe entry. See this old thread from 2016. Bearcat241 offers a couple of useful tips regarding this issue.

Here a copy of an email sent to a friend for the use of the "transformation" tool in MCX. The texts are in French. Their translation: Image 1 right click on #transformation then left click on transformation Image 2: right click on transformation then left click on Edit transformation

I've never had models disappear in the sim, but I did have a problem with the occasional merged part not being visible. That turned out to be a LOD issue. The merged part, from a different model, had it's LOD set at a different value to the model it was being merged with. Could be worth checking that.

Hi again, Regarding the paint kit, it can be located here : https://www.vertigostudios.co.uk/tbf/ If you look to the right hand side of the page you will see a panel called Game Details, there's a link there called 'Download Paint kit' I've always been around. The store is still going as strong as it was back in the day. I'm still modelling aircraft and sorts. Regarding aircraft releases - that's another beast altogether :jump: If you don't have reliable team members then its not worth doing.:wiggle:

Yes, once and a while I need to build something with yellow wings! It brings color to the shelf. I will be starting an F3F once I finish my Skywarrior and Viking. (Doing the Viking in the colors of VS-38 on the Ranger with the big rainbow on the tail. My go to plane in Dino's S-3 offering.) Yes, I wish that photo could be taken now. That would mean there are six airworthy TBDs! (We don't even have an example in a museum, although I've heard that might change.)

Burned a little midnight oil, and after some testing, I found some performance numbers I'm a bit happier with. Caveat: I'm not an .air edits guy, so it was tweaking a few numbers that seemed way off against some readily available data. No offence taken if folks don't agree or like these. The jet was undeniably overpowered in it's original release insofar as top speed, so this brings it in line with what data I could introduce into the sim. Edits to the aircraft cfg: red = old, green = new fuel_flow_gain= 0.002 //inlet_area= 6.250 inlet_area= 5.250

Thanks, Josh! It was a fun start to aircraft painting, and there's more to come...sometime! I bet that TBD model looks nice. Here's two photos of some Enterprise Air Group TBDs from Life Magazine. Kudos if you spot the interloper

Well, "easy" means different things to different people. The method I use (i.e. with Blender) is easier for me, but others have methods that are easier for them...and probably more efficient too. Regarding Blender......I use version 2.79 rat the moment, because it works with the Blender2FSX add-on. With it, you can export directly from Blender to an FSX or P3D .mdl file. Once they make Blender2FSX that works with Blender v 2.82 I will switch to that. I consider myself to be mediocre at best. I am willing to help others though, since I know how difficult and frustrating it can be. Its super fun to convert something and get it to work though and once you get the hang of it you will want to do it even more.

Maybe do you have ORBX free airports? Find it (if it exists, in ORBX Folder) and delate ORBX Corsicana or take insertion point below Ed’s work. It looks like you have here 2 airports in the same time. You can use Vector fix (AEC) also.

Hi John, I will give your link a look. Thank-You. Tom has a great selection of HD paints with slight wear showing even in the more recently restored/clean models, which IMHO adds to the realism, .. but, yes, ........ a lot seem to have that bluish tinge, for some reason.

I'm trying to run AC Man for CFS2 on my Windows 10 machine, and it's not opening. It used to work just fine. Has anyone else encountered this? Update: OK... I read through the text file, and tried renaming it ACmanCFS2.exe. Now it is working. I've never had to do that with this program...even on this Win 10 machine...
