Hi Folks, I wonder if anyone has A2A shockwave lights profile for the C-47 V3.14 Beta?, I managed it with the C-47 V2 but V3 con.fig file is somewhat different and I don't wish to mess up the internal Red lights or gauge lighting, any help would be wonderful!!!

The developer offered a modified mdl file I believe that reduced glass reflections. Recommend emailing them for more info.

Hello Aleatorylamp, I picked what I believe was the best P-39 - The USAAC 1941 version. As usual, not everyone has the same priorities in design features. I prefer to have a model that looks as close to the actual aeroplane as I can get within the limits of the design tools. I will put shape and lack of bleeds before animated parts and priority for representation are for pieces that would indicate some kind of status before just plain eye candy. This model has quite different priorities, but the assembly techniques used are actually pretty good. Although this is a "CFS" aircraft, the flight model is for FS98 which of course means that there is no supercharger and other CFS-only features. The Checklist also has numerous issues that differ from how the aeroplane would...

I have a list of about 21 (military) flight sim aircraft or updates "in development" and I'd say about 1/3rd of these are slow to get released for one reason or another. This count includes some freeware, btw. At least Baz has been kind enough to give us some answers and a few others have been great at posting screenshots on the development process, but others have been silent when asked about status or don't feel it necessary to inform us end customers. If anyone needs another beta tester who is efficient, thorough, and good looking you know how to reach me. :biggrin-new:

..just came across this post at another site that had some interesting info and patches. The second site by the Bent Prop Project has some interesting info on the markings of VT-51 while deployed in the Pacific.

I've gotten BPF Iceberg up and running. I usually don't get this shot up in dogfights and make it back. But then, I was in a Hellcat....

Today, 07:42 line with what you posted. The info I found had some pics of Bush in his planes. What was unique that I noticed is that they all had the name "Barbara" written on them in what appears to be CHALK. Maybe he named the planes that he flew, for the mission, like that or just named the plane for a photo to send home. Also found a reference, have to re-find it, that the squadron finished training and fitted out at a base in the Chesapeake Bay before embarking on the San Jacino.

Thank YOU, Sir. :-) I always design exterior sounds with a bias towards what most people call 'Tower View' Difference is that I have a soft spot for custom 'tower' views right at the edge of the runway, 0ft altitude and spend hours flying from the ground... Insane FUN!!! :dizzy:

Correct; 'sound' folder in today's update, IS the revised Mongoose sound pack. Re: xshutdown - we'll boost the sound to make it more audible, but I'll keep the fine tuning until James takes a look at the shutdown sequence vs Air.file.

So bringing this back instead of starting a new thread. Anyone know which texture would be for the glass? I'd like to make it a bit more clear to see through as it seems to be washing out the colors in the sim and hate that reflection thing at the bottom. LouP

Sascha; It is there, but the big difference is the removal of the 'AS Mongoose' from the 'sound=' heading in the aircraft.cfg. Nigel re: the prop/sound sync referred to earlier for the 621 with Mongoose, I can now confirm, listening from the outside, that the prop stops when the xshutdown wav finishes. My problem is that it needs more volume & I don't know how to fix that. I must admit that I have substituted the xshutdown wav for the shutdown wav from the VC view.....naughty of me! Have yet to check the other engines. Keith

Thanks all! Good to hear. I didn't know unpacking these files created a problem. Maybe it's because I always used the WinRAR Archiver? You can try. According to the download web sites WinRAR is limited to a 40 day trial period, but it has always worked beyond that for an unlimited time.
