The relevant ini file resides in the plane's panel\DSDSounds folder (which check). Occasionally there are hiccups when the sim finds a copy of the DSD sound gauge in the \gauges folder. In which case you can either download the revised version of the gauge from Dawson's homepage, or uniquely rename the current version in the panel folder (calling it C97_dsd.. or some such) and adjust the panel.cfg entry accordingly. (Not sure if I have put this very clearly.) In my later releases (B-50, C-47) this is the way the sound config is handled.

The T-38C I am struggling to understand, since with the ADV realism slider turned off you shouldn't get failures period. And its actually easier to fly than the Phantom, at least for me. I am wondering just how much stick you guys are giving.... One of the things that might explain why I find it really easy to fly both, barring any anomalies on your systems, is I have my stick mounted on a stand between my knees, just as it would be in the real jet. While I don't have the same range of motion that the real jet has due to stick length, placing it between my knees allows me to rest my arm on my leg and fly with fine wrist movements rather than whole arm movements. I learned this when I first tried DCS A-10C, which I find quite frankly more sensitive to pilot inputs than either the...

Just realized I'm missing the wing markings "203 C" I'll have to add those before v2.0 is complete.

Thanks Scott. It's a real paint that appeared in FJ-3's of VF-33. Fictional to the Tomcat though. Based on this:

There is one for CFS2, here's a screen shot of it on my system. It'll take me a while to find it as I haven't flown the ETO (or even opened the program) in years.

Quite the story Wombat, you were lucky to have met him and I was lucky to have watched him race even if it was only on TV. Thanks for sharing that with us. He was a thinking man's racer but could hang it out there with the best of em. He will be missed.

I wanted to see if any one else having issues using the inertia startup switch on the Vega 5? After trying to use the starter switch I always end up using the CTRL + E to start the engine. I hear the flywheel spinning and after `30 seconds, pull the switch out and it is supposed to mesh with the crankshaft ergo start the engine. This start switch is a lofty idea however, for me, I'm not having much luck using it to start the engine. When the flywheel is engaged with the crankshaft, I usually manage to briefly rotate the prop while I hear the engine trying to turn over. Not sure how long to push in the starter switch but if for too long, I will blow a fuse which has to be replaced.

It seems that the size of the image in the forum is determined by the size of the uploaded image. For a test I just downloaded your Helldiver image and opened it from my desktop, and it looks the same size in Windows Photo Viewer as it does in your forum post I shrunk it to 50% size and uploaded it here and sure enough, now it's half size in my post. So it looks like you just have to upload bigger images.
