Here is a list of the contents of the P-51D Panel folder - it's identical to the Panel in the P-51DFT folder. Huub, the only thing I can suggest is to duplicate the Panel with the gauges to all the P-51's. Hopefully, no idea why, it should work! The gauges must be in the Panel folder, not the Model folder.. (I'm sure you did mean the Panel folder) You said 'I'm afraid the fix didn't work for me. The problem persists. I do have the gauges in the models in the CWDT_P-51d folder, but not in the models in the other two folders....'

I had the REX weather app, and I uninstalled it, thinking that was the culprit, but not so. I renamed my Community folder to let MSFS generate a new one. That didn't work either, and resetting the graphics settings in MSFS had no effect. I am at a standstill now, with this problem. Zero clouds, no matter what I select, period. NC

I'm afraid the fix didn't work for me. The problem persists. I do have the gauges in the models in the CWDT_P-51d folder, but not in the models in the other two folders.... Hopefully I will find some time somewhere tomorrow to do some additional experimenting and have a close look to what is in the panel configuration file. Cheers, Huub

One of the things I've always loved about the stock Diamond twin is the blue paint. It may be silly, but the paint, to me at least, is quite nice. I missed having a blue option with the COWS release, so I downloaded the paintkit and saw what a mess it was. So I just opened the paint files in Gimp and ran the Hue slider just about all the way to the left on all the albedo files that contained red paint and then exported back into a new texture folder copied from the red one. Once I added a new fltsim.x section to the cfg and rescanned the layout.json, I had myself a nice DA42XI with the old familiar blue!

"Set nose wheel steering to limit" is the command I use, I assigned a key combo to it and it works great for me. You have to check your deflection though, on high steering it goes to 90° and just understeers at some point, more than half way of steering input can't really be used while not in almost standstill. You should be able to see the difference in wheel deflection though in external view.

I'm a bit distracted by real life just now, when I get a chance I'll download the parts and see what I can do. Apologies for the delay. The fix file should be available now. It's not one I've ever had, so can't help with the installer.

In regard to this question and all the others on CWDT uploads. We only currently have the "installer" for the CWDT Hellcat. The others are not being found. This makes the uploads sometimes "problematic". I'm still trying to find these installers and when (if) I do I'll upload them in place of the multiple installs. Hope "might?" be on the way. :dizzy:

Skylane At that time the Hellcats didn't have radar because all the components were to big to fit in the plane. The Avenger had radar because it was big enough for the components and was just supposed to guide the Hellcats to the target. By the end of the war everything was downsized and the Hellcat and Corsair were able to have radar also. Hiede

Removing them in the aircraft.cfg. Make sure you keep numerical order, with the first being 0 (zero). Backup your original cfg first.
