Our message must have crossed. And I didn't check anymore, as I was already on my way to bed. I'm glad you could sort it out. Like you already said, it is very nice scenery. Cheers, Huub

I first flew in a Waco in Sept of 1989 at First Flight at Kill Devil Hills, NC. There is almost always a nasty crosswind coming over the field from the Atlantic there. The pilot pushed the nose level almost right after adding near full power, he only adding in a hair of rudder for the wind correction. I remember seeing his inputs on the pedals, very minimal. What I am seeing on my end with this model is hypersensitivity of the rudder input curve. I have my sensitivity backed off to -95 on each side and am still getting too much from the rudder moments. It's basically a dance to correct the moments to one direction yet the opposite input (slight) causes a very progressive yaw to the opposite side which is difficult if not impossible to dampen out without a hard opposite kick. If FS2020...

Hi, Have it, great scenery. Note the update is already released last year. Version 1.3 is the latest (AWD_TNCM-V1_3_MSFS). Flown TNCM <-> TFFJ a lot of times. Also note the TFFG airport (French side) is also very nicely done! Marcel

that is typical for most biplane taildraggers - get the tail flying to get level and smooth the airflow over the wings as quickly as possible, so they can lift the airplane

ok well that seems to be what I missed, that he was talking about the honeycomb unit and not MSFS program universally. The bit about knobs meaning to be handled as axes rather than switches as MS has it does seem culpable. I don't know a lot about this stuff either.

I don't think he's right. The problem as I understand it is exactly what he's saying, and it has to do with whatever driver is between the Honeycomb and MSFS. And I have zero idea why it's not fixed yet. But it's not a general problem with MSFS, why do other controllers work just fine? He is right, the signal is getting sent again and again and again,.... from the honeycomb, nothing to do with MSFS. I assume the Honeycomb does this for compatibility with other games, etc.. Who knows? I'm not a driver designer. I'd trust him if he went in with some sort of probe, either hardware or software, and looked at the logic of the gauges and did some debugging and looked at the signals and responses. But he doesn't have a clue, it's all guessing. And he made up a reason from one...

trouble with the heading/ALT AP bug? watch this please Microsoft Flight Simulator | Heading/ALT Bug | Cause | FIX!! - YouTube it makes me wonder when the author of this vid says that the way MSFS reads switches and buttons is as a continuous pulse - rather than as an open/closed position - does that 'stack'? in other words - is it then true that the more you use the AP or whatever - on top of having the battery and generators ON and everything else - that all of these switch positions are continuing to 'ping' the sim? as he says "on isn't just ON - it's ON ON ON ON ON" -for every switch and button. If this is the case - no wonder there are stutters and CTD's as there would be conflicts as the load increases over time - unless I'm not understanding fully how this works...

I looked on both v4.5 and v5.1 and the radio towers are to the side of the runway in both. The Coast Guard used to fly the E-2C out of St. Augustine in the late 1980's. What is that big chunk of concrete (for lack of better idea what it is) showing in his image towards the top of the image by the asphalt area? It doesn't show in your image or on my system. Perhaps in installation is not so "vanilla"? :ernaehrung004:

You can expect him to do it all on his own, no crew, like he did it before: When that will prove not enough he will even get his vintage P-51 and bombed the runway : Never made it to the US for real let alone Chicago/Meigs Field but seeing my beloved Meigs destroyed by this madman broke my virtual pilot's heart. And for what ??!!... ( i read that he did it because his wife wanted a park there to take a walk with her grandchildern... )

Stop posting real pics John! Here's a few from the highly modified and experimental Savage Monster lol (These are two uncharted airports at flightsim to - search for YellowJacket and Wiley Ranch - they are real strips though!) I suppose - that prop is a tree trunk though so I imagine it would have some effect on pilot serenity at full throttle on the ground

Yesterday, 19:43 It's also on the Marketplace, so that's where I'll go to get it. There's a thread on their official FB page that says they're about to release an update that fixes a few issues, including windsocks that point into the wind. I think I can live with that until MS vets the update and gets it uploaded. I've often thought about buying sceneries like this, but then I keep thinking that I'll only fly to them one or two times in a year. This is different. With my predominant mindset of flying "air taxi" flights, this will make shuttling passengers in and out of TNCM and around the Caribbean very nice!
