Kurt, Is the rear gun animated? Your pic shows it with the butt in the stirrup (great detail) so will it move into the firing position, along with the gunner? probably a silly question.

Hi, this is just that you need to uncheck Dual Pass Render in the cfs3config.exe. I recommend that once you have the configuration settings right, you make the configoverrides.xml "read only" so that it does not get changed. The configoverrides file is in your AppData.

You're not alone amongst the many of us looking forward to this one. However, it is said that all good things come to those who wait. This is a BIG project that Gman has taken on that will, in the end, I'm sure be well worth the wait. I'm sure he'll update us when he has something significant to share. :ernaehrung004: The Old MSgt

Good shots NC. I think it looks even better without those ferrying tanks. Give that a shot too.

Tom, That's what I hate about messaging via forums, the tone can be mis-perceived. I apologize but don't mean to offend anyone around here. I am a stickler about the aviation community having been part of it for 14 years, and keep forgetting that simming is for the enjoyment of us all. Anywho, you have a good weekend.

Thanks for the repaints Jan :encouragement: I'm really glad someone took the time to work out how to paint these locked planes. I would love to see you do N53WC that Kermit Weeks bought so I can recreate his flight home when he bought it.

Indeed, a tone thing. I was thinking mainly of that bit of advice that's posted in the gray bar at the top of the forum list. i sometimes think it might be worth featuring that more prominently- since it's a big part of what makes this, in contrast to some other fora, such a pleasant community. And with that bit of mild advice, I'll step back from this debate. Back to our original programming, already in progress...

Correct. Just either use the small arrow on the left of the top bar of the window to roll up the window or adjust its shape and size using the tab in the bottom right corner. One thing I find ugly, working dev mode, is the need to constantly click from work windows to the main screen to re-activate your stick or keyboard to control the aircraft. One would think that a developer would create a better, more user friendly system. One can always use a second monitor of course, for the developer windows. Single monitors soon get carpeted with information. A real advance would be for the changes made in the editors to be translated to the model "on-the-fly". Now that would speed things up nicely.:engel016:
