I tryied to solve custom view issue myself using NodesToHide ="XMLVAR_PilotHidden" but it doesnt work here. Looks like a bigger problem and pilot is hard coded? This line doesnt solve the issue and the face is still present :dizzy:. I hope it will be solved, some people use custom view position in MSFS. I cant find click spot for parking brake too and fuel lever is operating only to half a scale (not to the end, to on). However the model is really beauty! The propeller animation was done very well too. :applause:

Another British Oddity the Westland Wyvern - single seat counter rotating props from turbines ala the Gannett. Another ex Flying Stations product, fully functional in P3DV5. (The exterior lights need a fix- I have that need to go look for it) again beautifully done VC etc etc.

Another Flying Stations work the Percival Mew Gull. Again fully functional VC very nice textures and beautifully modelled and no issues in P3DV5.

Another curiosity from the past the Fairey Swordfish. No great affection for the aeroplane but the exploits of the pilots who were forced to fly this front line bomber off carriers in WW2 are off course tragically heroic. I had the swordfish in FSX but had forgotten about it since getting P3D and lost the install files for the version I had (Alphasim I think). Watching a documentary on the Swordfish went hunting and found this version by Flying Stations who did a lot of interesting naval stuff once upon a time but had long gone but some dedicated soul had saved what he could from their catalogue and there was the swordfish (Link: https://bravozulu.blog/2019/12/18/flying-stations-freeware/ ) Anyway runs off an exe install program and after a check of its integrity in a dummy folder put...

Absolutely beautiful Kurt, Superb work both on build and tex, so glad you did it in FSDS, old but still a very capable prog! You know me, love the little details such as the pitot and drop tank strap detail, even the radio aerial mounting points and formation ID lights...many thanks for this stunner. Andrew, I still can't get why people seem to think that falling off wings, tail planes and engines are remotely realistic. I bet you it will be nigh on impossible to find any gun camera footage or evidence of a wing breaking off a Hellcat. Yes, Japanese ac broke or blew up, and yes the unarmoured lighter early war ac did have structural failures, but in general ac were shot down because the pilot was injured or killed, or a critical system (ie fuel, coolant, hydraulics etc) was...

Only by careful study of the pilot of the C-45 can the truth be discerned. Brilliant shots and repaint. Thanks.

Sorry, it isnt the true. The operation of lever for flaps is reversed (labels too, as few people noticed it before). No info about this postion in official vintage manual: Here is picture with labels UP - forward, DOWN - backward.

Sorry, custom view has a problem still in VR and 2D image too. Default pilot view is too close of front panel for me, so I had to save custom MSFS view (you can check how it works during next beta tests https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/guide-how-to-configure-cockpit-views-cameras-using-custom-camera-controller-assignments/171116 ). If you set up 0 lb (or about) the new issue arrives here (which is even worse :very_drunk: )- no pilot on external view, so Custom view have an issue. Pls ask Anthony how he solved it in his Drifter (if you have questions). The Pilots face and body is hidden automatically, and it also works like this in every default model of MSFS. 190lb (pilot body is visible in virtual cockpit too, you are "in"): With "cheat" Zero lb (ok, no pilot body inside...

Hi Andrew, Yes that ones been around for many years and prevents the prop from stopping at content rpm. You will often see it as prop_anim_ratio=0.99 Cheers Aussie
