Ian, I agree with you. Looking at that scenery gives me the same view of the land meeting the ocean I am looking to replace. Here in Florida, (along with several other areas), we have beaches. The grass, bushes, shrubs, and trees in most cases do not go all the way to the water. Generally, we have several meters/yards of white, grey, tan sand between the water and vegetation. Does anyone know of a good replacement texture set which actually has beaches in Florida? Lee

Dumb question - do the ai stearmans have sections in the aircraft.cfg? If that isn't there the AI will appear but just sit at their parking place. Gavin

Looking good and very detailed. BUT, I have to say Huub, the white Cliffs of Dover are just that...I think these maybe need a little more Colgate and harder brushing:smilet-digitalpoint Cheers Shessi

Ed's efforts are certainly appreciated, as always. I recall this scenery from fs9 days and the scenery aircraft were not AI but just scenery that did sometimes vary in placement around the airfield. I downloaded the flyable Stearman that was modified with this scenery for FSX and found it to be well below average, even for freeware. The new GAS Stearmans would welcome an agricultural crop-dusting scenery, but it doesn't appear that this one will the answer.

Hi Folks, Just thought I'd get you interested in some of projects that I've got bubbling away... Some have come from the great ideas/suggestions on the Fs9/CFS2 forums... To go with, and looking forward to Huub's new Fs9 install re-enhancement journey, and Ian Elliot chipping in with some new scenery...the future's bright, the future's FS9..:loyal: Cheers Shessi

Hi Folks, Been working on lots of projects, it's winter you know!, and this one is nearly there, just being tested, and few bits to do. It's based on an IL-2 model, which was based on Paul Clawson's Amiot, further detailed, a new VC, animations and versions etc. Cheers Shessi

Thanks so much Thomas! This is fantastic, somewhat rare type, and thrilled to see in the sim. I'm a fan of the Soviet era paint schemes, so I really like the Interflug paint for the UVP. Any plans for anything in that same vein, like this: Thanks again for the lovely project.

I actually made a low and slow approach and thanks to the HUD, was able to center it on the three wire (A-OK) :encouragement: I remember when I was on that boat watching "cyclic" ops where they would trap then taxi to the Fwd #1 elevator located in the center of the two cats and would lower to the hanger (Engines still running) and taxi in the hanger aft to aft elevator and lift to the flight deck for launch. Had to stay out of the hanger during flight ops.
