Last December I purchased the Captain Sim Boeing 757 and had no success installing it. I'll try again with the info link in #2 post. Thanks. Pete.

Of course. :very_drunk: The installation went fine. The installer found the FSXA install. All is fine except that the Tacpack weapons are not loading for the short nose model. Fuel tanks and empty pylons are showing. There are no display problems with the long nose model. After my report to SMS, I did a full uninstall - downloaded a fresh installer - and reinstalled the aircraft, and the issue persists. My guess is that there is something quirky with the short nose model for the FSX install. SMS is looking into the problem. :encouragement:

Very strange, does it have to be active? I installed it in V4.5 when it first came out and have not noticed anything unusual.

I was burned by Capt. Sim on a C-130 purchase some years ago. When I asked for a refund because there was no success in lnstalling the aircraft they informed me that they have a no refund or credit policy. They also did not have a help desk. My purchase was a virtual donation. Many like complaints about this company and particularly this C-130 aircraft can be found on the web. Buyer beware.

Richard, I very much appreciate the feedback and the pictures. I did not have too much to work off of so I am glad for the extra info. You should not delete your work! With the material you have I'd think your version of A709 would be much nicer, so please continue. Your other paints are marvelous. Don't delete any of them. Due to real world work I am often pressed for time so I may not get back to making revisions for some time. We can never have too many paints. Variety is the spice of life! Mike

Shadow I agree with you about carrier take-offs. I have Windows 10 and my mission builder defaults. Has Markus added you missions to his remake. If not, how can I get a copy of your carrier take-off missions> Mack

Hi there, old member returning the community here. Been in sims a long time FS98, Pro Pilot, CFS1, Aces of the Pacific (if anyone remembers that one lol). But I took a hiatus about 6 years ago from sims and came back to it early this year with P3D. I've been kind of lurking around off and on since about May, but didn't upgrade my account until recently. I'm mainly a sim fiddler and repaint guy. I don't have patience really for modeling (or haven't convinced myself of it yet), although I have been tinkering in ModelConverterX. I'm part of a group called Simulated Air Tanker Operations on FB, we've run it since about 2010. But it's been pretty quiet until recently, I started doing repaints. I'm friends with tankerguy72 if anyone is familiar IRL, we went to HS together and spent a lot of...

Thanks for the reception guys! I'm currently working on a repaint project for the CV-580 that I expect will be done this week some time. But it makes for the 11th aircraft (or so I think) I've repainted this year so far, as far as tanker stuff goes. The page was pretty quiet over there for a while, but I started doing repaints fairly recently. So it's come back to life. :applause: Repaints I've done so far this year for the curious. Aerosoft OV-10 (current Cal Fire scheme, Pack 1 is Ramona, Hemet, Paso Robles, Porterville, Chico, and Redding) Pack 2 is in the works and will be the rest of the fleet. Captain Sim C-130H/L-100-30 (Coulson nearly the whole fleet, Cal Fire, USFS, and Nevada ANG)

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - World War I Description: Large, long-range reconnaissance and ground-attack and bomber biplane. The first of the Gotha "G" (Grossflugzeug) Series, designed by Oskar Ursinus and built by the Gothaer Waggonfabrik A.G. in 1915. It was powered by two Mercedes D.IIIs 172 hp engines, with a top speed of 85 mph. Its elegant and unusual design incorporated a high fuselage, that offered excellent all-round visibility and field of fire, and also allowed a close engine positioning on the lower wing to facilitate single-engine handling. Also peculiar is the external mounting of the ASI, on stilts on the leading edge of the top wing. Includes custom Panel by Kdriver. High-resolution textures and panel.cfg with extra view...

The first prototype was underpowered, but served as basis for a land plane version of which 18 units were built and saw service. Later, a second, more powerful seaplane prototype was built, powered by two 172 Hp Mercedes D.IIIs engines, with a top speed of 85 mph. This unit was used on several bombing missions together with other seaplanes. I think that is a known bug, which was supposed to have been fixed. Are you using open beta or Stable? Interesting testing then.....from what I read about the hornet, it was supposed to be based on level of humitidy + the other factors. I wonder if that is a broad definition for the trigger. like, as in if it's >= X or <= Y.

We have now decided to add a "restored" example with a modern pilot. I'm sorry if I have offended you in some way GastonJ, but if you don't mind me saying, it is starting to show. This Hurricane is nothing like our last package. The previous had examples from various stages of the Hurricane's life including the prototype and we are still proud of it as a standalone product. This one concentrates on the Mk1 from the Battle of Britain. It also has more features, and is more detailed and a higher fidelity thanks to today's tech.:engel016:
