Does anyone still have this repaint lying around in a folder somewhere, the link to download that I've seen on other sites no longer works. Thanks Jamie

Bag your parden for long time to answer. I`m not at home for the last time. Will have a look for that update in future after ending some new carriers like the USS John F.Kennedy (CV-67) (need a permission to give it to everyone. Model is nearly ready), an the three LPH-4 Hornet (ex CV-21), LPH-5 Princeton (ex CV-37) and LPH-8 Valley Forge (CV-45). All modeling on these models is done... some textures to do for all different helicopter on deck. These models will come with different configuration (bridge, arming, helicopters) from timeline 1957-1970 (past Korea till Vietnam war period). Will show some pictures in the near future when home back again. greetings Klaus

The good news is that this version does indeed work in P3Dv4.5! For me waiting to see what P3Dv5 will bring until then... FSX-SE pic.

Thank you Ferry. I agree, the add-on content is the best and strangely weakest part of AC. The really good mods are just that, really good, but some of the ordinary mods are very ordinary. What I find attractive about ACC are the time and weather options, it annoys me when a circuit is posted with day and night options that don't work without additional packages. I've given up on RF2, despite the revised program and new (maybe different?) developers it's always crashing or not even loading, shame as I hooked up with the original RF2 at the very start. Time is always a problem which is why I'm only considering ACC at the moment........then again, one should never say never. :encouragement:

It might be because you're flying the FSX version. There is no P3Dv4 version, but there was a P3Dv2/3 version with TacPack, if I'm not mistaken... You might want to check which kind of gauge is handling the HUD in the FSX version. If it's a DLL, then it won't work. The P3D version of the A-10 works very weill in P3Dv4, excepted the FLIR/Laser targeting screen, which is very sad. Even by today's standard, this A-10 still has quite an impressive graphic quality, it has great sounds, and the cockpit is a pure joy in VR ! I really wish IRIS had made a small patch/update to make the FLIR compatible with P3Dv4....

It's infectious. I awoke today and found my D Drive missing in Explorer. It contained FSXSE and P3D4 and XPlane. Tried everything, restores repairs. Finally had to accept the drive was dead. No fun for me for a while then. :banghead:

Have you tried starting with the default F-22 first, then switch to the A-10? Which A-10 version are you flying (non-Tacpack or Tacpack)? I was troubleshooting sounds and the FLIR gauge with Tacpack in v4.4 prior to giving up on the FLIR image, but my HUD and it's various modes work fine.

Ordnance Engineering Co. is indeed a strange name for an aircraft manufacturer. :very_drunk: That should be the Orenco Tourister, Uli.

Thanks P14u2nv. I've had a look through the search and it gives lots of images but no definitive dating of insignia/ badges. I have pilots wings for the USAS and rank insignia from the 1930s, but it seems the rank insignia were changed after 1919. My guess is that most air services changed their structure and insignia after World War One. It would be good to find a text on the structures and ranks the USN and USMC used in Europe in WWI.
