Jens B. Kritensen seems to have been a prolific supplier of freeware to PC Pilot and his work is so amazingly professional - other similar things include the Douglas DC-4 & C-54 for FSX/FS9 (issue 72); Douglas DC-6 for FS9 (issue 62) and Douglas DC-6 for FSX (issue 60)

The issue you have right now is the arc 3 data stops at the 60th parallel. The Norway theater I want to have will be arc30 - just dedicated to convoys in the North Sea. If I use arc3 data, I can get Lister (Luster) Norway where the Germans had a NJG base and almost all of southern France. Still fiddling around to understand the process.

I worked for a couple of E-6's who were promoted to E-7 (Chief). They went through the SAME thing once they put on the Khakis. :wiggle: :ernaehrung004:

@Javis: I think that repainting the cockpit should be feasible for the many talented repainters that SOH counts, don't you think? Cheers, Priller

It would be of use to see what errors you found in the effects and gl file(s). I'm reluctant to copy over whole files in view of some effects and or g l entries not being duplicated, but fixed errors, definitely!:applause:

Great for airshow flybys and the like, great in VR, aerobatics tend to throw it a bit - the AI change sides when you invert in a loop or barrel-roll for instance! On first attempt I thought 'tactical' flying wasn't going to work - quite frightening weaving knife-edge through the valleys and fjords low-level as #2, as the loony lead flings himself all over the place trying to stay in position and (mostly) avoid flying into the ground. Doesn't try very hard to avoid flying into you though! Using a heavier aircraft, spreading out the formation to 100% and changing the formation type to Fluid helps a lot, flying #2 in a Phantom pair through the Mach loop in VR was just great, as said below it's a long step towards what we've been dreaming of for many, many years :) Take off and...

I tried it myself... but there are certain files missing and/or couldn't be installed without a genuine copy of fsx. To be honest, I was asking a favor for someone to do it for me. Does this clear up the confusion?

Well, maybe, hopefully... I'm almost sure i'm not the only one who simple can't fly this beauty from within this rusty old dustbin... I mean, this is the original FSX Milviz F-86 VC : What's wrong with that ?... It's perfect !! That could've easily been a photo of a real F-86 cockpit ! Why throw that in the ocean for 2 decades and then fish it up and put it in our beloved MSFS F-86 ??!!

OK, I'm getting back into CFS2 after many years on my older win7 machine. I plan on using JSGME for enabling/disabling mod files, I find it works great on pretty much any game, just have to get your mods to look just like the CFS2 folder structure, and remember to disable the mods in reverse order or you can really mess things up.. Anyways, now I remember, many of the aircraft add-ons are not structured perfectly this way, so you have to move files around a bit before putting in the JSGME mod folder... also, almost every jet I have installed so far (about 5 of them) do not work in cfs2 because gauges are missing, they probably come from other microsoft sims and folks are assuming you have all those other jet gauges installed. I did installed the lear45 dummy folder but I think the...
