I am still flying XP11 quite regularly, along with P3DV4, and even FSX from time to time. I don't tend to post a lot in here, but do read posts. It has gone quiet, which is a shame, but I think Bjoern may be right saying that most people go to the XP org forums for all their info. Maybe just not that many XP users on this site?

Right after I finished the Fuel Gauges for the P-47, I was bit encouraged by the fairly rapid progress. In the next day and a half, I created a full set of bitmaps for a Type B-5 Dual Magneto Gauge. The programming behind the B-5 Gauge will be a bit more complicated than the others but will be based on a combination of the Hurricane Magneto Switches and the P-51D Magneto Switches that were done earlier. The issue right now is trying to figure out the optimum set of mouse areas for the gauge. Note that there are three separate switches on the gauge face of the B-5 Gauge. The B-6 Gauge appears to be very similar to the B-5 but instead of a ON-OFF Toggle for the Master Switch, it uses a ON-OFF Push-Pull Knob. - Ivan.

Oh, right. I can't think of a single Japanese plane that has been specifically created for P3D V4. Having said that, you might want to search around Japanese flight sim forums.

Alpha : depends on how the modeller has set up the file. Some use the alpha as a spec map ( shiny map ) some have a separate spec map. And then it is down to if they have clicked inverse or not. So sometimes white is gloss but sometimes it isnt. Without hacking the MDL with modelconverterx if the model was not set up to use alpha then there is no point in painting the alpha channel. Camouflage : cheap wacom pen for camouflage adds the realism of hand painted to hand painted camouflage. Or if you're handy with photoshop ( or use it for that matter ) then feather + smart layer effects can get close but there is something nice about just sitting there with a pen and drawing camouflage... I am odd.:playful:

Sure, there's a lot of negative stuff happening right now and the future is uncertain, but there's nothing wrong with having a little hope. Because of my job, I am REQUIRED to show up to work every day, no matter what. We are on minimal staffing though, so most of the people who support my unit are not ALLOWED to come in to work at all. So, work sucks..... and has severely messed up my sleep schedule. The news sucks. One of my good friends died suddenly last week. We won't be able to have a wake or a funeral for the foreseeable future. Yes, it all makes me depressed, stressed and unhappy....but I WONT allow myself to put that onto other people....and I wish others would follow suit. Bottom line, if looking forward to FS2020 coming out helps to lift your spirits, good for you. If...

When I did the SEA F-4C camouflage schemes for the SWS F-4B, I did them all with a mouse. Since then, I bought a Ugee UG-2150 Graphics tablet display (you can find them for about $350 online), so now I have a 21" monitor that I can draw directly onto with one of the supplied digital pens. What I like to do is rough in the camouflage with a paint brush or pencil tool to get the general pattern down and then "feather" the edges with an airbrush tool. I usually keep each color on a separate layer, with the predominant color at the bottom and the others overlapping a little bit. I do it this way because often, the camouflage patters were based on official patterns issued by the service branch..... so they will be similar, but not identical, to each other. This way I don't have to...

I'll take a look. It's without a doubt my error. When I converted the campaign to Rhumba mesh. many of the coastlines changed and I apparently did not adjust the layout for Naha properly.
