    I was also a beta tester in the FSX model when TP was first introduced to this Hawg. There might be a few SOH threads on this and I do know of one following some of the port issues on Avsim. I was using that tread to try to resolve the FLIR image issues. For those just looking at this in P3D, the sound .dll will need to be directed to the 64bit version. The fuel.dll will need to be commented out, as it's a 32bit gauge. One has to manually remove the fuel out of the drop tanks in the Fuel/Payload section, unless you like 23,000lbs of go-juice. There are a few .fx files that did not get included in the Tacpack version installer, one has to get those from the non-TP version as the Iris forum post is long gone, as well as the hotfix, not sure if a support ticket will get any replies.

    Good evening, Some bad news from Rochester...my laptop is not working. Either my power cord or my motherboard went kaput. Will try and sort it out next week...have more important stuff to focus on at The Mayo.

    Thanks for the input folks, has got me a little further on. W, Well yes and no. The early series only had partial cabin pressurisation; most, if not all, of the pre-production ac did not have any. Production aircraft were mixed with some having partial cabin pressurisation others none, whilst the few later C models had full cabin pressurisation. :dizzy: The rest of the ac was not pressurised. B, ''And again: Was the A234 pressurized?'' If you read the posts you'll see I did answer/state that in my second post. Cheers

    Thanks for the reply Manschy, but no, whether I go through Vehicle->Instrument or Shift+1, the Load manager shows, but when I click on any of the white squares, nothing happens. This is both in FSX and P3Dv4. It doesn't seem to matter whether the plane is shut down or not. -Rob

    A steering wheel and pedals will make a massive difference, although I did use Project Cars with the X Box One controller which came with the Oculus Rift for a long time. Eventually I set up my saitek pro combat rudder pedals to act as accelerator and brake, which made it a bit more controllable. Eventually I bought the Logitech G920 bundle with wheel, pedals, and shifter for a very good price from The Gamesmen in Australia. The experience using the wheel and pedals is increased 200%.

    stansdds, I have a question - when I was on the AH website they said removal of the He-111P from FSX would entail just removing the aircraft folder in the SimObjects/Airplanes folder. No other actions were necessary. If so, that means any .dll that, in your opinion, might be causing this situation would reside in the aircraft folder which was removed. I'm not that conversant where those .dlls go, but isn't it usually in the "modules" folder? If so, how do you think I'd find the one belonging to the He-111?

    Right on Gordon. I believe I mentioned Ray tracing in one of the other threads on SOH and was met with skepticism. Same thing happened with PBR coming to P3D when I mentioned that. I think we as an FS community need to come to grips with the emerging and in some cases (PBR) older tech that is standard in most other gaming. Devs need to learn the new work flows. Our whole hobby will be better off for it! It's pretty obvious that Ray Tracing will be in MSFS 2020. A year is a long time to integrate VR.

    After I listened to the interview in post #152 I added up 2+2, drawing from what I have seen and read in their press releases and see in the trailer vid. I would expect that if MS is exploring VR global mapping and building a revolutionary simulation platform, they would integrate the two. That plus what I have learned over the last number of years about scenery development and trying to fathom the massive MSFS data reservoir...my take away is MS is going to take Unity across multiple platforms. Other engines like Unreal approach VR in a different modality.

    Hello Falcon. Since you are doing this, maybe you could answer a few questions for me. I to have had a couple of goofy things start happening on my FSX Accel install. If I've been running a while and I minimize the sim with the windows button, I have to open task manager to get FSX to pop back up because when I click the FSX icon on the task bar, my start icon disappears and then the sim stays minimized. The other thing is an errant smokestack effect coming from a few planes. (This happened after I installed 3D lights and have since uninstalled which made it better, but not 100%) Would I be able to save my main folder on a flash drive, reinstall the sim and then overwrite with the saved folder? I would assume the reinstall would fix a busted pathway, but would overwriting the old folder...

    Ahhh.. scenic Somalia... desert dust blowing out to sea, high cliffs overlooking the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, sandy beaches ideal for launching RIB speedboats... Candala could be a site for a great resort, but unfortunately investment has been limited by certain unpleasantnesses. Maybe some of the 'pirates' could be hired to provide the tourists with watersports and security for the resort. Maybe I'll call my banker if I get out in one piece. Meanwhile, a load of cargo to deliver.

    Pressurized or not, if accounted for in the design, any "pressure traps" shouldn't cause problems. And again: Was the A234 pressurized?
