Deep in the archived Milviz phorum it suggests that for the J/S 'BASE' is used instead of TGT2...BASE is impossible to see, it's the vertical position of the rotary selector on the Nav panel in the rear seat - but sadly it still doesn't work :( It's worth getting the navigation to work as it adds a new dimension to flying the Phantom from waypoint to waypoint round a tactical route -- shades of Tornado! There are some good flightplans on Flightsim.to, the ones around the Lake District and Scotland are the best I think - although it's an MSFS site the .PLN files work in P3D, just copy them to the usual place in P3D. https://flightsim.to/file/51599/lfa14-raf-typhoon-low-level-sortie-lossiemouth-star-wars-valley-no-1-f-squadron...

IF you avoid the big brands, a lot of the best stuff now is coming out of eastern Europe. Favorite makes of mine (I am also mainly a 1/72 aircraft guy) include A-Model, AZ-Model, ARMA, Eduard, KP, Kora, RS Models, Sword, and Special Hobby. My favorite supplier for good mail service to the US is super-hobby.com. The accuracy, detail, and fit precision of some of these brands is now the best in the industry, and the subject choice is excellent. Even a prolific and demanding builder could build happily all their life without needing to touch a kit from Asia if that was their choice. There are some nice acrylic paint lines coming from that region now also. August

Do you have to restart MSFS or turn the PC off & then back on for these changes to take place?

So it was. In fact, it might have been in FS9 that I first had it. Not long afterwards, two of them appeared on the UK airshow circuit, both owned by Nigel Pickard.

I should've waited for Shessi to post. :biggrin-new: When I replied to Ian I was flying the Wellington from Shessi's "CFS2_Vickers_Wellington_Mk_X.zip" here at SOH. It has NO lights and comes with a dp and other CFS2 files. There is also a "FS9 Vickers Wellington Mk X.zip" which is the older of the two downloads. They're both described as FS9 and CFS2 compatible. Ian has the older one which I just now downloaded and yes the lights are on all the time. I'll add some lights to the one I originally downloaded and post the cfg line entries here.

I have used the ASOBO military pilot to get the grey HGU-55 helmets that were used latterly by AETC - it will be interesting to hear from friends on here what helmets were worn earlier in the life of the Tweet. White certainly, maybe silver even? JK - thanks for the white bird this morning - she's great!

I would love to see military pilots, but somehow I don't see that option? Meanwhile, try the white one: https://flightsim.to/file/52181/cessna-t-37b-tweet-usaf-58-1926 Tweet 01 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr Tweet 05 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr Tweet 06 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr

    Scorch00 replied to a thread P3D_V4 NH-90 for P3D V4.5 in Prepar3D
On some models in my dealings with all the conversions I've done. If the model doesn't have two separate, i.e. a separate exterior and interior model it wont show up in P3Dv4.5. It isn't always the case, but largely this has been my experience moving some FSX, but nearly all FS9 stuff is this way. So when you convert the exterior, if it doesn't have an interior, you have to either merge out the interior model from the base or sub/model merge another aircraft's interior model and subsequent panel to it.

My problem is not flying. I thought I would slow down and just enjoy playing a campaign or two but before I start I think I want to change this that and next thing you know I’m still working not flying. Beats all I’ve ever seen I don’t know what the matter with me but that’s the way I’ve been.
