    I have a static battleship halfway into Pearl Harbor. It's placed where I want it, but I would like to give it an impression of being underway. Anyone know how I can get a bow and stern wake on a static ship?Best to you all,Bill

    Huub Vink. I'll be using the Dewoitine D.520 more in Part II of the Battle of France, but after doing 338 missions and 19 campaigns during the period between 10 and 25 May 1940, I'm taking a brief hiatus from mission building to avoid burnout. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Mermaz version. I love your repaints! :santahat:

    .....I have the Vn classes but I think the gist of the original post was for the ships to be of todays standards. I guess for that even the ACM Mahan should be included. That is what I intended when I lumped those ships together as not being represented. Guess I didn't state it properly.

    I've nearly finished my campaign package for PTO. Hopefully it does not step on anybody's toes - it involves a set of spawns to add ships as ground spawns, and ships for campaign play. Unlike stock CFS3, allied ships as ground spawns only appear in friendly oceans, and enemy ships only appear in enemy waters, except some marauding warships. I order to get the requisite ships to appear, the country.xml has been tweaked, a new campaign is added, and copied vehicles with different nationalities added to provide life for facilities which generate as random nationalities (a CFS3 quirk). So if anybody objects to these copies being made for different nationalities, and tweaks to vehicles and ship xdps, please let me know. I have not made any changes to aircraft for the purposes of...

    .. from what I have in my ship folders, you, Collins and Usio (RIP)have covered almost all the DD classes directly or by ship names that are in one of the classes but not named as the class. directly. I think what we are referring to here are the between war treaty classes that were still around for World War 2 and its ending. These classes would be the Bagley, Benham, Benson , Greaves and Gridley. I can't seem to find any of these .

    Greetings! Great to hear from you. I've always wanted to add shippinglanes to PTO and RS, but have recently got the ship spawns to work using Groundtype="direct". Led Zeppelin used Groundtype="direct" for his ship spawns in ETO, but for some reason they didn't work for me. So it is only very recently that I've come to using this approach, apologies to Led Zeppelin for being so slow on the uptake...

    Hi Flamingskull, I haven't tried them in WOTR yet. Let us know how they go! Recently I've had to undo some tweaks which stopped my coastal ships in one install - it is very easy to stuff that spawn up, seems sensitive to change.

    Hi MajorMagee, I have a working set of shipping spawns for PTO - ship.spawns, destroy_ships, destroy_ships 1,2,3 etc. Also ground.spawns shipping too. Remember that for spawning, "friendly" and "enemy" countries are dependent on the country.xml. This is tricky in PTO as you ideally want japan_ijn as the Axis spawn because they have more ships, and check the nationality of US ships - are there more "USA", or more "US_Navy"? For some missions it would be preferable for say Japan_AAF to be the default Axis spawn, therefore you need to make sure there are copies of an auxiliary, destroyer, patrol and submarine and cruiser for all ship spawns and coastal spawns to work. Having a couple of copies of the country.xml will quickly give you different default spawning nations, using a...
