I'm holding out for the 1960's variation when it comes out. I saw where that version was on hold due to the modeler being out of action for an extended period but supposedly they resumed?

Nice little video. My kids watched the new Battlestar Galactica on a long road trip a couple weeks ago. My Son watched this video with me and I actually remembered enough about the plot of this particular episode to explain it to him My Son's questions were: Why don't the pilots have visors on their helmets? ....and why are there lights around the pilots' faces? I wondered why these folks don't wear gloves when "flying".

I will be following this thread anxiously awaiting conversion and uploading of liferafts with pilots etc in the Warbird Library (I hope). You can see my new thread with the SOC Seagulls. It would be a lot of fun placing these and then looking for them. Then the Duck or Catalina can come in and pick them up unless we put them on the wings and taxi to the closest DD or CA as done at Midway.

Interesting project and really love the videos. Especially like the PC12 maneuvering around the field. I know it was designed for STOL but wondered how it would fare in a wet filed like that without a larger tire footprint to prevent sinking. Out of curiosity, what sort of factory is there? I look forward to adding this to my collection, especially if there's a hangar one can taxi into since the above mentions an underground hangar. Sounds cold war-ish....

I wanted to be able to launch the Curtiss SOC Seagull by Paul Clawson from a Cruiser Catapault after launching off the USS Idaho which comes with the FSX download. AiBoatTraffic just didn't work so I "disected" the Idaho and found that it was an "airport" so...I turned the VEH CA33 yanco USS Portland cruiser into scenery with MCX and created an airport with four runways each 10'x60' in ADEx. Uploaded the Portland bgl into the Object Library and placed it in the airport. The latest version of ADEx is so cool because the object is not just a colored rectangle but an actual model so I was able to place the runway starts directly on the catapaults port and starboard. Runways 1 and 2 are orientated 000 degrees relative to the centerline of the ship as are the catapaults amidships. Runways...

That's a great story. Bet he cried when he walked in and saw it. :untroubled: It's a love affair. The weight and feel of the keys...grabbing handfuls of drawbars. Working the Leslie Starting it was not just a flip of the switch...it had to be spooled up like starting a radial.

Since I rode my Duc to the "island", do have to watch for them but did like the small scrap between Zarco and Vale. I don't normally cheer for Dani, but hoped he would hold up MM93 at least to allow 46 to fight. Sad to see Maverick go down.

Had hoped for some form of expansion pack for the H-60, I do agree regarding the Huey and thought the Mi-17 would be different, plus there is room for Tacpack. Maybe they can model missing bolts and safety wire, to really make the user second guess flying her.

My husband had an M-100 in college. His band actually carried it around to gigs. His mother donated it to the church after his divorce from the first wife, with out asking him. He always talked about it, so I found him another one on E-Bay. Cost as much to ship as it did for the organ itself. It was worth it. LOL Sue Loved the Lee Michaels ! Thanks

It is a small world isn't it Sue? Gotta be a B-3. They did make the X-66 which was a super tricked out monster B-3 on steroids...chrome legs and all the bling. My dad got one of those later on. He actually had a B-3 for a few years before he died, but his second family kept it.
