Interesting read indeed. Thank you Milton for the few aircraft I have had the pleasure to fly but mostly, thank you for the support you give a very niche community, both in words and deeds depicted in your various threads and releases. Also, here's the link to the thread for those that have not read it yet.

After checking out "Flyfreestd", their Mig-29 comes closest to Bear Studios. Not the in depth systems work Bill did for Bear Studios but fun to spend some time with. The "Flyfreestd" PAK-FA is definitely "light" but their primary MFD are nice to look at with a number of variations and on the fly weapon load outs. Thanks to all who replied and their good info.

I'm aware that some sites go down and some people don't want anyone messing with their work and I've run across this problem with other add-ons in other sims as well. An example from this instance though is Usio's ships. I didn't realize that Usio's Legacy was where all those ships are now located so I followed the various forum links to the Geocities site where they aren't. If I had had the file name of the ship that was used say instead of just Kagero a quick Google search points you right to where it is located. I understand that it is more work for the developer, but you've already spent a lot of time trying to make something enjoyable for others, so why would you want this part to be an unenjoyable hassle that could cause people to just say "for get it" and then...

If I remember correctly from when I did the Night Fighter / SCR-720 tactical displays and the gunsight reticles, CFS3 does an additive blend operation when it combines the overlay with the base color making the colors lighter. In Photoshop you would do a "multiply" adjustment of the layer with itself at 50% transparency to make the starting green darker, so that it looks like what you actually want in game when the "screen" operation happens. Also you can change the Caption text and position in dlgingamebriefmap.xml so it says something like HS2 Scope instead of briefing.

:wavey: Manuele Villa told me that the ALPHASIM PHANTOM COLLECTIONS SETS 1, 2 and 3 were freeware at I could not find them there. Does anyone know where they can be found and if they are really freeware or not? Any help will be appreciated, Nick Tselepides Athens, Greece :running::wiggle::wavey:

OK this is sort of a better prototype but have to change some xml files which seems difficult. Also greens aren't showing up in the gam the same as on (gimp?).

I think the nose and tail were the same, but the dorsal turret was not? These models will fit the Lancaster, but there are slight issues with the nose and tail turrets, (model issue with the nose, and miss-aligned muzzle effects withe tail) Ted did say he will upgrade the his Lancaster in time.

I just downloaded and installed the Tom Ruth Tu-144 found here "Tupolev TU-144 Complete Package V2" and got it to work right except for one issue; in the VC, there's a black bar on the bottom when I start the flight in the VC. When I launch it from the 2d cockpit, the bottom portion of the main panel is "stuck" in this bar. I've included a screenshot which hopefully illustrates the issue well enough. Is there a way to fix this?
