Josh, the aircraft addons you're describing were made by William "Bill" Ortis (Lionheart Creations).

I think the ORBX is a bit better than the MAIW since it's in the fs9 autogen format and ORBX is in FSX and up. But if you want to try, put the MAIW above the ORBX.

OK. You've got me going now! I have got my knickebein working more or less now, and X-Gerat is just a variation but you seem to be producing something much better. Is that Y-Gerat or an X_Gerat version. I ask because Y was basically remote bombing on a single beam. In any case need more input!:wiggle:

This is entirely related to adding new functions into Reshade (in this case image sharpening) that can be added to CFS3 once you have AnKor's shaders running. Reshade is completely optional, and unrelated to AnKor's shaders other than Reshade needing the DX 9 functionality that he provides before it can do anything. You can think of Reshade as being the same thing you might do to a screenshot in post-process to make it look "better" than it did in game, but it does it in real time while you're playing. Here's a link to the Knowledge Base Entry For Reshade Installs http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/40606-Projected-knowledge-base?p=1218972&viewfull=1#post1218972

I worked in Data Services -- essentially publications -- and later as Editor of employee newspaper for El Segundo and Palmdale. Dan's cubical was about 20 feet from our room in Building 100 in El Segundo. I do recall coordinating a couple briefings for him and quite a bit on the ATF reports getting them published. The image of the ATF we used was pretty generic because of the classifications. Not as interesting as the ATS. Good times for sure. :ernaehrung004:

I just hope there is some leeway in that policy. Missiles and bombs, sure, I can at least see where they are coming from but if that restriction applies to gun ports and hardpoints I feel that's a bit excessive. I was also thinking maybe it had something to do with ESRB/PEGI or equivalent ratings, but both FSX and Flight 2012 are rated E. The FSX had the F18, which had no weapons, and the P-51 Racer, which had no gun ports. Flight had the Zero, Mustang, Corsair and Warhawk but only the Corsair had gun ports. Hopefully developers can get a little more clarification regarding the wording of the document Dino mentioned.

Same here with two different aircraft. Only benefit is that it loads a lot quicker on the second and subsequent launches. :encouragement: Will have to check out the link mentioned above. :ernaehrung004:

I see two probable explanations for that. One is that adding weapons may change the rating of the game to something other than "E" if done through the in-game store, and the other reason could be something with one (or more) of the licenses Asobo/Microsoft signed with aircraft manufacturers that prohibit them from adding weapons. I believe there's actually some keyboard assignments for things related to aircraft carriers already in FS2020, so it's likely simply an issue with weapons and not military aircraft in general. There's also a chance that it has something to do with P3D being used for some military training(MS could have agreed to stay away from that market when they sold the FSX code to LockMart), but that seems a bit unlikely.

Bingo!! Thank you, John ! :encouragement: True, it *did* mean downloading and installing 15 Gig of 1.8.3.0 patch again, i suppose this time from MS.....Got lightning fast internet so not a problem. In any case, i've got the whole shebang of aeroplanes back again, like i had them before, including the Baron, Cessna's and Zlin Shock Ultra. Just hope they won't disappear again.. Thanks again, John, much appreciated !

What turned my attention to them is that they had a Wittman Tailwind and living in Oshkosh of course I had to have it!. Then I got the Fairchild 24, Piper Tri Pacer (which I've flown for real) Pasped Skylark and the Lear 24. Still want the Quickie and being a fan of the V-173 and XF5U the Stingrey looks interesting. Regarding the Skylark I'm really looking forward to GAS's Aeronca LC sharing hangar space with it! I generally don't buy GA stuff but if you'd find it parked at the vintage barn at EAA my opinion changes!
