As you are using the FSX port-over (note the term port over not conversion) this is normal. This package still has the FS9 compiled models and these don't have the VC split out into a separate model. There are links to an FSX native conversion of the models. Gavin

I contacted Gman about this, but wanted to share with the rest of SOH who are following this thread. A friend of mine, a retired Navy Master Chief, Frank Turchi, runs the Maintenance Tech. Publications Library for the Naval Aviation Museum, here in Pensacola. Every so often, I go visit him. Went there yesterday, and during our discussions, I made mention to him that the A-26 is being recreated for FSX/P3D. He is more than a little interested in this, as he was a crewman on Invaders. Frank is in his mid 80s, I believe. Tough old guy, and takes a lot to slow him down! He is a avid RC enthusiast as well, and just recently acquired a A-26 JD with retractable gear that he has been flying quite a lot. Frank just bought a new gaming pc this past week, and is buying P3D. I look forward...

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Jets Description: The swept-wing Republic F-84F Thunderstreak evolved from the straight-wing F-84 Thunderjet. The "F" model incorporated such aerodynamic improvements as swept back wings, due to the success of the North American Aviation F-86 Sabre. It also featured improved tail and elevator surfaces, a smaller canopy and a redesigned windscreen. With these improvements, the F-84F was introduced in 1949 as a competitor to the F-86. The prototype first flew on June 3, 1950, and deliveries began in 1954, primarily to the Tactical Air Command (TAC) as a ground support fighter bomber. Armed with six 50-caliber M-3 aircraft machine guns, 24 5-inch rockets and 6,000 pounds of bombs. To check it out, rate it...

The hats are a great clue! This aircraft had a novel feature as the outer wing sections rotated to act as ailerons.

Good grief, Gentlemen!! Of course you can watch *.wmv video with VLC player. Or Windows Media Player. Or Media Player Classic. What you CAN'T do is watch the FS9 'Lessons' (or, 'Saved Flights') because they consist of *.flt and *.wx files which those players can NOT handle. They are only viewable thru/by FS9 itself. And the question or problem is that the OP can't understand why he can't watch the Lessons 'video' whereas before he could. He suspects that the cause is his going from XP to Win 7. So now we have to find out what he did. Did he install FS9 into Windows 7? Or did he just copy his FS9 installed files over from XP? We need to hear from his as to what he did so we can help him solve this 'problem'. I don't think it's a Win 7 security update, either. I am just trying to help....

See here: With Tom's help I got the DC-6B working well in P3Dv4 after swapping out some blurred prop textures and playing with the alpha channel. Otherwise they disappeared altogether at speed. With the Starliner I cannot get the props to spin more than in start up or shut down motion in flight. None of the tricks used with the DC-6B were of any help. Still, it is fabulous to have these big beasts aloft in 64 bit P3D, even if further tweaks to the model or textures may be needed.
