Hi pomme homme:very_drunk: Indeed the Model 1002 by Leonard C. Elmendorf. Built by using parts/components of 2 salvaged Cessna 182 Skylane aircraft and apparently nicknamed Myline by the builder. Your turn, please

Imagine an invisible aircraft carrier elevator that extends just below sea level, when raised it could swing over the deck, then drop down a bit. Not easy admittedly.

Did you do any mods to the TA7-C like swap out the mdl file, edit the aircraft.cfg or make changes to the air file? I assume the hook lowers on the other T models?

Rob Davis1 day ago I can well believe this story. The late Mike "Lancaster At War" Garbett was a very good friend of mine and he told me that amongst many thousands of aircrew interviews which he conducted, one related to an officer based at an un-named Midlands or Cambridgeshire aerodrome. This officer, who had an excellent Squadron operational record, told Mike that there was a gap in his wartime RAF time for which he could not give details. The officer added that once a year he would receive a personal visit from "men from a certain London department" who would carefully quiz him about any approach which might had been made to him about this mysterious time, and caution him never to give any information on the matter.Mike's opinion about this was that the unit involved was...

It would be fun to have some planned multiplayer events for STOL challenges. There are already three aircraft included in the full package that are fantastic for short landings/takeoffs, and then the addon Kitfox besides. It's neat seeing X-Plane developers crossing over into the new MSFS, and quite easily it seems. It was posted somewhere recently that you can export directly from Blender for this new MSFS.

All-right you men, settle down and listen up! Anybody know where I can lay my hands on this file: FDG v.2 P-47d-23, aka FileID=2289? The FileID is from the link provided in the readme from Morton's P47d_56FG skin-pack for same: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=info&FileID=2289 But it is no longer a functioning link.

Should have checked that, D'oh!! Cheers Pete. Fancy a black Lancaster anyway, might have to repaint one one day. Reminds me of the Christchurch based HP Hampden repaint I did, a semi-fictitous special operations paint based on what I had read, just wish I could find the info again, lol. The serial number is within the range of those apparently used.

Thanks guys but yes, yes, and yes. The master power switch stays on by default unless you turn it off but I’ve verified ON. The three hydraulic system gages read 3k lbs each. No way to turn off or otherwise disengage hydraulics that I’ve found. The config files are identical between A, B, C, E and TA except for TGW and engine thrust. Been scratching my head for a few days on this one. Steve

As long as Isl. Nublar exists virtually, I fully expect to see herds of Dinosaurs and including some T-Rex, fully animated, running wild. In fact, I expect no less from the creative minds around here.... :D :jump:

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - World War I Description: A.F.Scrub's Phonix D.I conversion to CFS2 Panel configuration conversion to CFS2, aircraft.cfg and .dp by Captain Kurt Compared with their German counterparts, Austro-Hungarian firms were far less efficient, with approximately twice as many workers being required to build an airplane in 1918. As a result, Austria-Hungary had no choice but to import aircraft from Germany to meet its wartime needs. Nevertheless, the Austro-Hungarian aircraft industry did produce one of the war’s better fighters in the Phönix D. I, but it unfortunately came too late. The Phönix D. I biplane was intended as a replacement for the Hansa-Brandenburg D. I. Although it was produced in smaller numbers (120 D....

Hello everyone. I am getting back into CFS3 after being absent for a while. The reason for my absence was the Win7 to Win10 transition. I now have my CFS3 installs transferred to Win10 and they are working. I do have DX9 installed and Gmax and the mos editor is working. When I paused from CFS3, Ankor’s Shaders were just starting so I never applied them to my Win7 installs. It looks like they have come a long way from the time when I paused CFS3 and I would like to try them on my Win10 installs. Is there more to it than putting the Ankor shader package into the CFS3 directory and following the readme instructions? Thanks.

I had to fix a major error I made to the paint scheme. I think I had it in my head to follow the Air Express livery and had missed the way the red Lion's wheel fairings were supposed to look. Anyway - I have fixed that mistake now..

It sounds like you have check this but... just in case.... Have you checked the aircraft.cfg for the tailhook code? How does it compare to the other A-7 aircraft.cfg's? This is the Tailhook code from the Razbam T-2 (I don't have the A-7's installed on my work computer) tailhook_length = 4 ;(feet) tailhook_position = -23.6, 0.0, 1.2 ;(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum

is that Kitfox based on,or meant to be Trent Palmers?...looks like it in the shot of it.hes a great guy,i enjoy his videos on youtube alot.id love to see Mike Pateys new "Scrappy" added to flight simulator(s)..i even sent him a message asking him if he would be willing to have one made for it.havent heard back from him though.he and his brother are very into encouraging new pilots,so i had asked if he would be willing to have it done as of the fact he and mark are so encouraging to new pilots. id love to see if the Flying Cowboys as a group would allow all of their planes to be included, would be fun for multi-player mode to have a STOL drag competition.

It seems the thread has gotten a bit off topic but so far it's 11 for Rickenbacker and 5 for VMF 323. With that in mind I am going ahead with the Rickenbacker campaign. That will be done so it could integrate into an Aerocrate install. I plan on a USAS UIRES in the Aerocrate style, new airfields in the St. Mihiel area, a little extra scenery, and some additional relevant aircraft with appropriate camouflage paints. Should be somewhere around 25 to 30 missions. Don't despair you Marine Corsair guys. I won't forget about VMF 323 in the future though. I have a great book with a day by day account of their actions that is too good to forget about.
