And I though it was already amazing somebody recognised this airfield. Now I understand this was just an easy question :dizzy:

I will have a look at it - but are you with the stand alone version here from SOH or with the version included in the Global AI Ship Traffic?

Of course I would like to include them :D :D :D I might also want to remodify them with other navy textures as this version was present almost all over in the sixties, seventies and early eighties.

I bought the Tri-Motor and the Aeronca packages from the FlightSim store a few minutes ago. Sale and download went fine. Thank you Tom for making these planes available at such a bargain price! :encouragement:

I just ran it again with AVG off and it seems that was the problem. I didn't know it would rename files. I wonder how much else it has messed with. Thanks Guys I appreciate it. JB PS. thanks to all involved with the AVRO It looks great.

Thanks fellows, In looking at that structure I see that the sound and gauge files are named " $$A file " instead of wave or xml and BMP

I went looking for an up to date KATL and found a really nice P3D 2020 over at AVSIM which I downloaded and then with the aid of ADEx compiled for FSX and renamed the CVX and OBJ files and it worked perfectly. I have permission from Joseph Kaiser who with permission did the conversion from the 2016 version to P3D share it when its done. Ed Akridge has added the Delta Hanger properly marked which he created. I am currently with the aid of Google Earth and the Airport chart bringing it up to 2021. The buildings are from FSX default which are well done shapes and textures. That also keeps the frame rates down. Google Earth shows all of the runways, ramps and gates marked with painted boxes on the surface but after creating them in Sketchup and placing them, when I opened up the airport...

Devildog73 Thanks for the response. There are a few trails you mentioned haven't gone down yet. I see a couple of clues to my problem. I was getting pretty tired of messing with this particular a/c. I did find the player a/c and the air.cfg title had : DH 98 in the title and 98 DH in the player a/c. That still didn't fix it. Back to work on it tomorrow with your tips.

Heheheh, that's pretty good, not heard that one before. Though there is little permanence to a P-40 with a Zero already glued to its tail!

I just heard a wry joke. What was the P-400 like? It was like a P-40 with a Zero permanently on its tail...

highpockets, I do not alias anything to another aircraft, ever. I put Mosquito panels and sounds in the BSK_MosquitoNFII. I make sure the missions aircraft called for and aircraft names are exactly the same. I use Jones QC Editor to make sure the MosquitoNFII is functioning in Quick Combat. I make sure the BSK_MosquitoNFII is listed in both Descript.dat and mdlnames. I know this is a bit overboard for some of our friends here in the basement, but I leave nothing to chance. I highlight, copy and paste the aircraft name from the DP and AIR files so that I know they are exactly the same.
