Would love to see a Navy J2M5 Model 33 Raiden interceptor...... Would be a good aircraft to go up against B-29's. In real life they suffered with teething problems but all worked out except maybe build quality. Still,it would be a nice addition.....Pretty Please !

I've been away from the site for a while. Gordon, Glad to hear part 1 of your surgery went well. I hope recovery keeps progressing in the same way. Always good to see brilliant minds work their magic for our hobby.

Scott McLaughlin and Alex Premat have kept their Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 victory, despite DJR Team Penske being found guilty of breaching FIA rules during the race. CAMS stewards delivered their verdict after a hearing on Saturday, handing DJRTP a $250,000 fine and deducting 300 points from their teamsí championship tally. The teamís #12 Fabian Coulthard/Tony DíAlberto entry was also dumped from sixth to 21st in the results, the last of the classified finishers. Stewards opted to suspend $100,000 of the fine until the end of 2021. Saturdayís hearing took place after Coulthardís slowdown under Safety Car on lap 134 of 161 raised suspicion that the rules had been breached. Stewards concluded the team breached the FIAís Obligation of Fairness regulations, but...

Very interesting read. Wow! A P-47 and a Mosquito! I was a bit thrown to the response about the A-6. Wasn't that the one that was supposed to come out as part of the Tomcat package? I suppose it's 3rd party, so nothing to do with ED really.

"After 2 heavy bursts of all 4 machine guns in a nose high over the target deflection shot (where I couldn't see him under my nose and sight)" Sounds like every hit on target I ever get in IL2 Battle of Stalingrad. I can never see the target when taking deflection shots, and am just guessing (or doing advanced trajectory calculations in my head:biggrin-new:). Too far back I suppose.

Two months ago I started accumulating bits and pieces for a computer upgrade. The reason was the new Ryzen's were released. So, I snagged a Ryzen 7 3700X at Newegg (saved a couple bucks, but not much). A couple weeks after that I picked up a 570X chipset board for $20 off, an M2 SSD, some standard SSDs and, of course, some DDR4 memory. I pulled the guts out of an FX8350 build I had (sold the CPU on eBay, gave my son the AM3 socket motherboard and still have some DDR3 memory listed on eBay). The case, hard drives, power supply AND Win10 operating system are being used in my "new" build. (Getting the Win10 license moved over is another story, so if anybody goes this route and has questions, send me a PM.) You may ask, what about the graphics card? Good question. Last week on my almost...

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Other UIRES and screens Description: This full set of screens uses both period AGFA color photographs as well as some colorized B&W of the Luftwaffe on the East Front. I have been collecting wartime color photos of the Luftwaffe some time. Quality German color photos are actually hard to find but I think this collection works well and should provide a bit more realism for your CFS2 European Theater. You have the choice to either fly as an officer or an enlisted pilot. My thanks go to Achim27619 for help with the German language translations. To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit Luftwaffe in Color East Front UIRES set.zip The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.

With respect. 1. Agree however , with new pbr techniques ( both in the generation of the textures and the way materials are set up ) this becomes tougher/less cost effective/ and less ROI See point 2. 2. Absolutely disagree here. Sorry but no extra sales. More exposure for the repainter yes agree with you. Not so much for the original development. 3. Again have to disagree with a caveat. If I were a repainter only I would see the greyness In that I agree whole heartedly. However I'm on the dev side. Take a model that is UV'd but no textures in grey. Everything has to be done from scratch. If I were to ask a person to paint it from that point they would only have wires and colour ID. I would classify that person as a painter/repainter. If however I had already done a texture,...
