I am doing something wrong, obviously, because I still cannot get the Gazelle textures to show up. I followed Klaus's directions, but no joy. NC:dizzy:

I've watched those rudder oscillation movements myself, from spot view at about the 10 o'clock position, and it seems to me that all they've done is make the plane pivot around the nose cone/prop spinner instead of the CG position.

Once you get to the point where you can see the "packages" folder, right-click that and choose Pin to Quick Access. That will give you access to it any time you want - no drilling required.

They also broke the flap lift factor by doubling it. They published a workaround whereby users were to edit the flap lift in the flight_model files for each plane. But that only solves the issue for 2/3 of the planes for most users. There was no plan for a hot-fix, but after the outcry, they're supposed to be putting one out soon-ish.

On the whole, I've quite enjoyed the way it knocks the aircraft about in choppy conditions but I've found some scenarios with the wind cranked up where it seems to create a rudder oscillation rather than random movements

The Microsoft Store will often put your files in completely nonsensical places. This is a Microsoft problem, not an Asobo problem. The surefire way of finding it is: From the main menu Click the "Options" tab at the top of the screen, then select "General" On the left hand side, select "Developers" and enable developer mode, then click "Apply & Save" at the bottom of your screen You should now see a menu at the very top of your screen, similar to the old menu's in FSX/P3D and the like Select "Tools", then click "Virtual File System". A window should appear. Select "Watched Bases" from the new window and it will list your install folder and community folder and packages folder

I have tried to find information on assigning "Screenshots" to a controller. I really dislike having to use a keyboard, period, when flight simming. When at all possible, I assign functions to my controllers, and if necessary, to my mouse. Has anyone achieved this? Yes, I know how the keyboard is used to do screenshots, and I want to avoid it if possible. I am running MSFS through Steam, and according to what I have read, "F12" supposedly does screenshots, but it doesn't work for me. Hopefully you folks have a answer? Thanks! NC

I have tried four different time to donate but no matter which option I use it always will not accept my credit card or my debit card. I have had no problems with either card other places. I always donated other years also with no problem. So I give up. I tried.

I'm afraid I've retired myself from flight sim developing, but I'd gladly assist wherever possible in any P-51 development for MSFS. Another detail I thought I would mention too is the paint on the landing gear handle. From the factory, it was never painted overall red - that was something that only first took after WWII, in the 1950s when the cockpits of some in the USAF were painted black. Originally, from North American Aviation, the gear handles were always either painted entirely flat black (with white lettering), or interior green with only the rounded end painted red (with black lettering).
