Good morning, It turns out there was one more Lysander mission in the hopper... "title_string"=Lizzie Squadron - Protecting Calais from annihilation "summary_string"=Attention! The Port of Calais has been surrounded by the Germans & is now under seige. Our trapped forces report they are being shelled by new guns positioned somewhere just to the southwest of the port. Your Lysanders will scope out the area near the village of Peuplingues, find the guns, and take them out! Let's help our brothers in need! "objective_string"=On 25 May 1940, RAF Lysanders raided a German gun line set up near to the village of Peuplingues, southwest of Calais. The Germans were using this position to shell the Port of Calais, which was still in British hands to this point despite being under seige by...

You have to enable the master exterior lights switch first. I linked it to the key in MVAMS (under miscellaneous controls > master exterior lights). BTW: After moving to P3Dv4.5 the standard F-4 did not work anymore so although I did not want all the ADV/TP bells and whistles, I bought the ADV module. I still do not like the pitch trim and the strong oscillations and I wish there was a way to use the old standard version in P3Dv4.5. I shelved the MV birds because the SimWorks studios F-4B suits me much better.

He was just straight talking and a true legend, having come back from the accident was truly remarkable together with all his other ventures. He will be missed that is for sure.

Hope you don't mind Pete, I'm not trying to gild the lily, but I thought a little "identification" wouldn't go amiss. I need hardly add, it's already a Floatplane and an Early Cowl Tutor!! Regards David

Nah, just a few books and a couple of scale models. There are a some interesting youtube channels with great information I like to watch. The Bovington tank museum has a great channel. As for owning a piece of armour, even a working kettenkrad sell for over €80.000 these days....

Just taking the opportunity to ask though: how to turn on the external lights ? It's killing me. I set all the switches to ON in the external lights section (right side of the pilot), excepted that ONE switch which is not clickable. Am I missing anything ?

I just made a new test flight using the F-4J Silver Kings :) I chose a light payload, with just half internal fuel from the load manager. After taking off, I played around with the trim. For info, I use only the default P3D trim commands, which are mapped to two buttons on my joystick. The trim really had to be adjusted quite a lot. If the flaps are down, the plane will want to nose down quite a lot. If the air-brake is deployed, the plane will want to nose up a lot. The nose up/down tendency also depends on the general airspeed. So yes, not an easy plane to stabilize, unless you're in stable flight conditions (which I was not, since I was circling and doing loopings around the airbase :P ) but nothing impossible. Makes the plane feel more lively than the more recent...

If you can get a copy of "Today's Pilot Magazine," Sept 2005, Dave Unwin gives a very interesting report of flying the AN2. in this case LY-BIG, at Tollerton in the U.K. Amongst many other things, he describes the controls as heavy, particularly the ailerons, with the stick -free stability as directionally strongly positive, longitudinally positive, and barely positive laterally! It has strong adverse yaw, compensated by the powerful rudder etc. In other words , just what would be expected of a large heavy aircraft with manual controls. It would appear that ATSimulations and Sibwings have got it just about right, within the limits of flight simulation. Dave Unwin ponders if he would like to own one-He seems impressed by the aircraft for what it is and how immensely capable it is in...

Hello All, At the end itīs probably better to have the AGO C.I without bombs. It seems historically more correct to keep it at being strictly an observer. With the scarce information available, one may venture to say that most probably only the more powerful and slower AGO C.II that carried bombs, and itīs not the plane Iīm building - I donīt know if it was beige, light blue or light yellow... even more unknown factors than the colour scheme of the C.I! Cheers, Aleatorylamp

Hello Folks, On my computer the Porokhovschikov-2 BiCocque behaves well, except for a little forward-lunging and two small jitters on engine start-up, and after that everything is stable and docile. Nevertheless, Kdriver has reported extreme abnomalities like a high-jump, and a summersault followed by an inevitable crash. So on some computers obviously there seems to be a problem. Strange that itīs not on all computers, because Iīd have noticed. (...probably...!):banghead: More proof to confirm that imformatics and computers are by no means an exact science. :tommygun2: They seem to me to be even more aleatory than Pixarīs animated desk lamp. I am already sufficiently erratic too, (Aleatorylamp), so maybe the combination of the two factors gives a dire result. Perhaps...

Mine are full right, ignore crash detection, also cut off the T-38C's realism on it's menu. Nothing helps. I start the takeoff, all is normal until I rotate, it never gets airborne, the tires blow and then either the gear folds and the engines FOD out or it bounces into the air, gear still damaged, usually one engine out. I had a similar problem with the F-4E ADV in FSX. I rolled back to the base F-4, all was fine.

One other question: are your realism sliders fully to the right? We had hypersensitivity problems in the T-38C and F-15C during testing that I couldn’t figure out until I found the testers had their realism sliders at the default positions.
