Talking of the AH Chippie, does anyone think it looks better without the squashed donuts on the wing ribs?? I tried to edit them out of the normal textures without messing up everything else they're supposed to do. It doesn't work so well on the very shiny BBMF paint but most of the others are OK.

A quick question Andy, have you any idea what the textures will look like? As I recall, you made the original repaint for PD3, and the orange dayglo you said could look a little garish from certain angles. Do you think it might be a similar case with MSFS? ChipShop

Yes, i have this issue the prop disk cast shadow on ground and in plane model itself, usually in wing parts. I will try this what you suggested, thank you for your help :) I have usually made prop disk transparent settings myself, by selecting "invsrcalpha" and "srcalpha", and also "special functionality", and setting those settings it was showing the propdisk shadow.

Not sure about the overall size, but the standard 'D' type roundels look wrong on most paints and repaints. Red/white/blue radius proportions are supposed to be 1:2:3, meaning the red center patch should be much bigger.

Robbie, Very much OUCH having just caught your tale of woe for 2022. Hope your latest op has gone OK. Wishing your luck changes very soon. I've been lucky so far as regards Covid & his (her?) offspring although the heat currently in UK saps my strength on top of my Parkinson's weakness. Having moved house again I am getting back into modelmaking for FS9 with an aircraft I was lucky enough to be allowed to fly & with the part owner being an instructor and a Flight Sim user, we have got the flight characteristics (I think) spot on - just got to find a way of disabling the springs in the joystick because in the real world one can control her with just a finger & thumb! Wow, I am a little shocked at how few repaints there are for this little beauty. I would encourage the artists here to show some more love to the Chippy. And, if they can reduce the size of the RAF roundels on the fuselage, that would be good. I think the stock ones are a bit too big.

Do you mean the prop disk itself or the disk is casting a shadow on the ground? If you're referring to the actual prop disk itself being "solid." You have make sure the propeller blur texture in MCX is "set default transparent" in the material editor and you have a proper transparent alpha channel set for that propeller state.

I'm sure it's known that if you add more point positions , you will get more of your Flight on the runway. Not sure you can get them to go from taxi area to runway.

Unfortunately, the office is awful quality in this one as well. I hope another dev can do this one justice eventually.
