Well, ain't that just a tad too extreme, Denny ?.. No one in his right state of mind is going to complain about the shape of something using that kind of extreme zoom. IF somebody complains about the shape of something on an aircraft model we can safely assume he knows what he's doing and is talking about, right ? Btw, certainly don't what to re-start the dispute about Dean's F-4 nose, Tom didn't close the thread for nothing, but i'll eat my top hat with pepper and salt if 'distortion of a screenshot' has anything to do with the said dispute. It's just not enirely the right i.e. 'perfect' shape. That's all.

Same here, I haven't used a rolling cache in ages and haven't noticed any difference to having it on apart from more drive space.

FWIW I turned OFF the cache soon after release. I do not fly in the same area consistently and have a fast connection. No detriment whatsoever.

Sorry Sean, I had completely missed your question. As I already mentioned before, I have played so much with my ground textures that I can't really answer your question. In this case I know I've been cheating a bit. The F-1s actually don't fly over Northern Africa, but over the Australian desert, simply because I like the ground textures much better. It takes so little time, it's a no-brainer. I do it before I close to the desktop after every flight. First off I use Google Earth maps (MSFS 2020 Map Enhancement tool)when I fly, but when doing scenery, I simply open MSFS and do my thing. But while doing it, MSFS is using BING Maps. Therefore, I do not want any BING Map features showing up when I am flying in Google Maps, ergo I always flush the Rolling Cache so I do not get any BING Map conflicts. Cazzie

Hiede Wonderful ministry. My uncle died in battle in Alsace France in early 1945. I did not know him well as I was pretty young. M dad always cried when we visited his gravesite and the veteran’s memorial stone in Oklahoma My eldest son was 82nd Airborne and served between prior to Gulf War. He was in the Granada invasion and we were terrified and glued to TV until he was able to contact us. My eldest grandson served in Afghanistan later, drove a MRV but missed any combat. Terrified for him too. They both came back with very little emotional scars. I was planning of finishing my Air force ROTC and being a fighter pilot in the mid 60's-- but asthma grounded me. I wish the younger generation ( GenZ ?) could understand what today is really about. I salute all the vets here on SOH.

alright - so there isn't much to show that looks new - but the wing has been treated to more surface preparation - sanding, filling and sealing. Also - I am working on the wheel wells - far from completed but going in the right direction..hopefully
