Just done a circuit and all seems in order. But it's worth remembering the external and internal models add up to a fearsome 260+Mb so it's possible it needs a big rig. Mine's AMD, Ryzen 7 5800x 8-core CPU, Radeon RX 6800XT GPU 32GB RAM. Just under a year old; my old rig would barely load it in 4.5, much less fly it in anything more than slideshow. DaveQ

This one is tempting me. It looks like they're quoting Wiki regarding performance. That's the only source I can find that matches the quoted 144 MPH (125 Kts) cruise speed, which is actually the economy cruise. Every other source lists higher cruise speeds. I also had to download their documentation package ( ) in order to figure out that they've modeled the H variant. I think I'll think on this a little more...

I do not have an answer to your question, but can give you a statement from their website ( - "RAZBAM Simulations has been creating top-notch military and civil aircraft simulations since 2003. Until recently, RAZBAM development was focused exclusively on the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X. However, the team has stepped away from developing for the aged Flight Simulator X, and into the split future of flight simulations: Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D (for civil aircraft) and Eagle Dynamics' Digital Combat Simulator (for military aircraft)." I understand your issue though (I do most of my purchases now from SimMarket which does a good job of allowing multiple...

Fibber replied to a thread I need Wind in CFS2 General Discussion
IIRC, did the late great Talon used to build wind into missions ? I think it is in the individual mission .mis I can stand to be corrected on that but I do recall asking something about wind drift waaaaaaay back and that is what I was told. Had text notes on it but they went with the crashed computer. also, eat lots and lots of sauerkraut.

Thanks Hans and Marcel ! ( typical... two dutchmen answering while the Netherlands neither operates a carrier (anymore..) nore utilises the F/A-18 Hornet. Hehe..;-) Good one, Marcel ! I was searching for an MSFS F-18 manual but doesn't seem to be there ?... Thanks again guys, almost all clear now. Still i find it fascinating, automatic launch/take-off from a carrier... Thanks, John ! That certainly make sense. Got 2 inquiries left: what does PIO stand for and with what aircraft did the automatic launch start ?..... F.i. does the F-14 launch in the conventional way ?
